You think I fucking asked for this?
You think I asked to be born into this hell?
You didn't know father like I did.
You were right when you called him a murderer, but he's so much more than that.
So much worse than that.
You judged a child by the sins of her father, who's done unto her what he could have done to you.
Actually, yes.
I did do something to you.
I saved your miserable life.
I vowed to protect your son until my dying breath, because I loved him as you do.
Because he showed me the love you were supposed to give me.
The love you promised to give me.
You have no one to blame but yourself.
You broke your promise, thus continuing on his legacy of creating a monster.
I did nothing to you, Machi.
You did this all to yourself.
That's what Nakano would've said to the woman had she not knocked her out on impulse as soon as she was thrown out of her memories.

Takemichi stirs awake. The music from his headphones is still blasting, so he sits up and takes them off. He notices the clock on his bedside table. Eleven in the morning.
He then looks down at the sleeping bag next to his bed, and his sister isn't there. Assuming she's already made food, he gets up and makes his way to the kitchen.
As soon as he opens the door, there's a faint smell of...
'Is that... Alcohol?'
He walks towards the kitchen, and nothing is out of the ordinary. It's as clean as usual, and there are even two plates of food on the table.
"Nakano?"
He calls out for his twin, but he gets no response, so he searches the house. The bathroom, the living room, the front porch because maybe she's sitting outside? But nope. She isn't home.
Assuming the other plate is for mom, he heads over to her room. Upon opening the door, he sees her asleep in her bed.
"Okaa-san?"
She continues to snore, obviously in a deep sleep. Thinking she must've gotten home from a night shift, Takemichi then leaves her be as well.
He returns to the kitchen to eat the food Nakano left him. Upon noticing it's cold, he goes to heat it up. As he does so, he wonders when she came home, and when she left. If the food is cold, she must have left a while ago.
And... He still can shake the lingering smell of alcohol. Is he missing beer so much that he's hallucinating its smell?
'No, the scent is too strong for it to be beer...'
Ring~
Before he can think of anything else, he hears his phone ringing from his bedroom. He quickly gets up and rushes to his room to get it.
He picks up as soon as he finds it, and greets the person calling with a mouthful of food. "Moshi moshi?"
"{Takemitchy!}" The cheerful voice of Mikey can be heard from the other line. "{You and Kano-chin aren't busy today right?}"
