"Marry me."

"What?!"

Ryujin asked shockingly with widened eyes. Earlier, Beomgyu asked her help about their lessons in Mathematics. Which she found very odd since he's doing good at every subject already. But he pleaded her so she just agreed and they went to his house after their class ended.

But once they entered his room, Beomgyu straightforward told her that he's arranged with someone he doesn't even know personally.

Ryujin doesn't know why this is her business but she still asked him what will he do in this situation he is in right now. And guess what he said.

Yep, you guessed it.

"Shh." Beomgyu placed a hand over her mouth to shush her.

Ryujin harshly removed his hand and smacked his arm which made him wince.

"Beomgyu, are you hearing yourself?" She asked him with a hint of what the fuck in her voice.

"Please Ryu, I can't think of any other way to avoid the marriage." Beomgyu told her.

"No." She said and attempted to approach the door but Beomgyu quickly blocked her way.

The girl sighed and tried to go to the other way but again, the boy blocked it. And again, and again, and again-

"Beomgyu, stop this. I want to go home." Ryujin stomped her feet in madness.

"Ryu, please think about this first. You're my bestfriend and you're the only one who can help me." He said with pleading eyes while rubbing his hands in hopes that Ryujin will agree.

"Sit." Ryujin pointed at his bed.

"What?" Beomgyu raised his brows.

"I said sit." She raised her voice a little bit and Beomgyu quickly sat on his bed.

"Tell me everything. What the hell is happening? Why do you need to marry someone? I don't understand a single shit on why you need me to marry you." Ryujin asked while hands on her hips.

Beomgyu sighed and looked at her. "There's this girl named Eunji or something I don't even know! And basically MY parents OFFERED me to date her because I'M SINGLE and blah blah then I later found out that she's actually finding a FIANCEE." He explained with some hard tone in some of his words.

"So you're dating her?" Ryujin raised a brow as Beomgyu quickly shook his head.

"Na-uh never."

Beomgyu looked to see what her reaction was and saw Ryujin with a puzzled face.

"I don't get how marrying me will solveㅡ the problem."

He sighed and pulled her to sit beside him.

"Listen, her parents are a friend of my parents and we already went out for dinner with both of our families. I assumed it as just oh a family dinner or shit but that topic went up that I am single."

Ryujin signalled him to continue.

"And her father said that Eunji is too. Then, told us that maybe we can get to know each other. BLASHHS." He said in disgust.

"And here's me that was stupid and thought that he's saying that we could be friends BUT clearly that wasn't the case."

"Eunji came from a wealthy family and she needs to be married in order to inherit their said company." He rolled his eyes in annoyance.
