Grocery shopping.

Dishes.

Laundry.

Homework.

All things I do to try and busy myself.

No free time. Free time equals thinking and thinking equals hurting.

I don't want to hurt.

It had been almost a week as I hadn't seen him all week. I've done anything I could to avoid thinking about what happened. I came home, cried all night, then woke up and decided he didn't need my tears.

I had obviously told Rosa and Vita what happened but didn't want to talk about it any further. When I came home, I went straight to my room before Vita came in and comforted me.

Rosa came home all smiles and giggles. She had the best date and they had to planned to go on another one in a few days.

I'm happy for her. Really.

I admit I am a little jealous but Rosa deserves this. Just because I'm unhappy doesn't mean she has to be too.

"Aspen, I'm leaving now! Text me if you need me." Vita yelled from the living room as I heard the lock on the front door.

"Ok." I yelled back, continuing to stuff the clothes into the washing machine.

I waited until I heard the front door shut. Hunter had seen me doing laundry and begged me to do his, claiming he would give me $20.

Thankful for another distraction, I agreed without taking the money. He said he needed his clothes clean for when he and Rosa went back out, making my heart twinge a bit.

As I was pouring in the detergent, I heard someone knock at the door. I paused before going to see who it was. I wasn't expecting anyone to visit today.

I brushed my hands off, walking down the hall to the door. Maybe Vita had forgotten her keys.

The person knocked again as I unlocked the door. I rolled my eyes and opened the door, surprised to see my sister standing on the other side of the door.

"Livi? What are you doing here?" I questioned, stepping back so she could come in.

She stepped in, placing her purse down on the couch. She didn't say anything so I went back into the laundry room. I could hear her following behind me, not stopping as I went into the laundry room.

"So...are you gonna tell me why you're here?" I asked, grabbing the fabric softener.

"What's wrong, Ensley?" She frowned, leaning against the doorframe.
