He whispered something to her before the minister began speaking. Although, I don't think they were listening until he told them that could read their vows now.

Dalton laid back against my pillows as I was laying beside him, my head resting on his chest. I had lifted his shirt slightly, tracing his prominent abs. The TV was playing softly in the background as we laid with each other.
He was tired after practice today as he had to work extra hard for his game next week. This would be the final game of the season, leaving him more stressed.
"How long did it take you to get these?" I mumbled, raising a brow as he was half-sleep.
"Years. Going to the gym back in high school helped a shit-ton." He answered, reaching his hand down and playing with one of my curls.
"How often do you go to the gym now?" I asked, tilting my head back to look at him.
"I try to go every weekend." He answered, looking down at me tiredly.
We fell back into a comfortable silence as I played with the strings on his sweatpants. When he came here, we had unintentionally been matching with our sweatpants.
I felt him move around as I continued playing with the strings. He let out a soft laugh as I raised a brow at him.
"Did you just make a heart with my sweatpants?" He tiredly asked, smiling at me.
"Maybe."
He laughed and continued to play with my hair, trying to keep himself awake. I felt bad for keeping him up, knowing how tired and sore he was after practice.
"I'm so fucking exhausted." He groaned, throwing his head back.
"Take a nap." I mumbled, checking my phone to see it was only 6:30.
"I want to talk to you though." He frowns, reaching under my (his) hoodie and rubbing my back.
"But you just trained extra hard for like 3-4 hours. I'll be fine." I tried to reason, turning my head and seeing his eyes halfway shut.
He could barely argue, too tired and sore to disagree. A short bit later, I heard soft snores escaping his slightly parted lips.
I chuckled and turned captions on the TV, letting him sleep. I scooted up on his chest, resting my head in his neck while still slightly looking at the TV. His arm came and wrapped its way around my waist.
Through the silence of my room, I startled slightly when I heard my phone began ringing. I reached over Dalton, grabbing it off the nightstand before he could wake up from the loud noise.
I read the caller ID, accepting the facetime before lowering the volume on my phone.
"Hey, sis." Livi greeted, smiling down at the phone as it looked like she was walking somewhere.
"Hey. What's up?" I greeted back, trying to maintain my volume so he wouldn't wake up.
"I just wanted to know if you were up for dinner later?" She asked, pausing as she stepped into an elevator.
