"What's wrong, peaches?" Vita pouted, sitting on my bed as she rubbed my back.

I tilted my head back to look at her just as Rosa walked in the room with a box of donuts from our favorite place. She came and sat them down on the bed, smoothing my hair down as she smiled sympathetically at me.

Dalton had been blowing up my phone nonstop since he dropped me off yesterday. The car ride back to my apartment was silent and I didn't say a word as I got out of the car.

I was now crying in my bed as thoughts of our conversation from last night kept running through my mind. I took one of Rosa's donuts and sat up as they both looked at me.

"He got drafted to a team." I mumbled as they both smiled but looked at me in confusion.

"That's great. What's wrong with that?" Rosa asked, tilting her head at me.

"It's in New York." I frowned, another tear running down my cheek.

"You guys can do long distance. I'm pretty sure everything is going to be okay." Vita told me, sympathy laced in her voice as she rubbed my leg.

"But that's the thing." I sniffed, wiping the tears from under my eyes as I bit into the donut. "He doesn't want to do long distance."

"He wants to break up?" She asked, pouting as I shook my head.

"He wants me to go with him." I spoke, my voice breaking as I started crying again.

Rosa rubbed my back as I laid my head on her shoulder. I finished my donut, crying as I chewed on the sweet goodness. Vita handed me a tissue off of my nightstand, helping me wipe my tears.

"And I can't just go with him. My sister just got married and she's having a baby so who's going to babysit? God forbid I let my mom because my niece or nephew needs some fun in their life." I rambled on, the tears falling down my face.

"Aspen." Rosa called yet I didn't hear her as I kept rambling.

"And Scarlet just asked me to be a brand ambassador for her and then model after I graduate. Which is also coming up soon, never mind that-" I continued, wiping my eyes as more tears kept falling.

"Aspen!" Vita raised her voice, gaining my attention as I stared at her. "Calm down, peaches."

"It's gonna be okay, Aspen. You two are going to figure everything out, I promise." Rosa smiled, pulling me into a side hug.

"But what if we don't?" I sniffed, grabbing another donut as they looked at me sympathetically.

"You guys will figure it out. Trust me. I haven't seen you this happy in a while." Vita smiled, reassuring me. "Have you talked to him?"

"No, he's been blowing up my phone ever since I left. I haven't replied though." I answered, looking over at my phone that I hadn't bothered to charge last night.
