Three Weeks Later

Over the past three weeks, Y/n and I hung out with Ned and MJ a few times. Ned fangirled when he saw Y/n and I holding hands.

We told May the next day about us going over to Y/n's old house and what happened while we were there. She was mad at first about us not telling her and going alone but eventually she calmed down once she realized we were safe.

Y/n and I went on several more dates over the past few weeks. In fact, I am getting ready for one right now.

I pulled on a white button up dress shirt and a pair of black jeans before heading into the bathroom to fix my hair and finish getting ready. I played around with my hair and, like usual, it wouldn't hold anything. So instead, I left it in a loose mop of curly brown hair on the top of my head and called it good.

I thought about spraying on some cologne, but then I remembered last time I did that and it smelled terrible so I decided against it. I walked back into my room and put on a pair of all black Converse before walking out into the living room to meet Y/n.

When I got to the living room, Y/n was already there and was playing with Koda, a huge smile plastered on her face as he ran in circles around her. She let out a laugh, her smile growing even wider.

God, I love that laugh, and that smile.

I walked over to her and pet Koda's head.

"We gotta leave for a bit, buddy. We'll be back later." I spoke.

Y/n laughed at me.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing. Your voice just gets super high when you're talking to him." She responded.

"It does not." I protested.

"Yes it does, Pete." May said as she walked into the room.

I let out an exasperated sigh and shook my head before standing up. I held out my hand for Y/n to take and helped her up.

"Ready?" I asked.

"Yep!" She exclaimed, popping the 'p'.

"Bye. Have fun." May spoke, smiling before walking over to me and placing a kiss on my forehead.

She hugged Y/n. Y/n flinched when May's leg collided with her own.

"Are you okay, sweetie?" May asked.

"Yeah. I ran my leg into the table the other day and now it's bruised. I'm okay." Y/n assured.

May just smiled in response and shooed us out the of the apartment. I helped Y/n into the car before getting into my side. I put the keys into the ignition and started the car, pulling onto the road seconds later.

We arrived at our destination about a half an hour later. It was a nice restaurant, not super fancy but not too casual either. I parked the car and got out, sliding my keys into my pocket as I walked over to Y/n's door to help her out.

She still had her crutches and cast on but she would be getting it off in a few weeks. I opened her door and helped her out, handing her her crutches before heading up to the door of the restaurant.

I held the door open for her and she walked in. A man who worked there, greeted us as we approached where he was standing. His name tag red, Oliver.

"Do you have a reservation?" He asked, his gaze flicking up to me then lingering on Y/n.

"Yes." I responded.

"Name?"

"Parker."

"Parker, party of 2. Right this way." He grabbed a few things before leading us over to a table.

We followed him to the table. I went to pull out Y/n's chair for her but Oliver cut in front of me and pulled it out before I could.

What was that?

I brushed it off as Y/n sat down, as did I. Oliver handed us both a menu before speaking.

"What can I get started for you to drink? He asked, looking to Y/n and completely ignoring me.

"I'll just have a (y/f/d)." Y/n informed, a small and polite smile showing on her face.

"Got it." He looked to me with an unamused look.

"I'll have the same." I spoke.

"Yep." Was all he said to me. "I'll have those right out."

He looked back at Y/n and winked at her before walking off to get us our drinks.

"I swear to Chuck and all things angel, I will gut this dude like a fish if he flirts with me one more time." Y/n grumbled.

I laughed and looked up at her.

"Glad I wasn't the only one thinking it." I laughed.

She smile at me.

Not a minute later, Oliver came back to the table with our drinks. He sat the glasses down on the table and resumed flirting with Y/n, only talking to me when he had to.

"What will you be having to eat tonight?" He asked Y/n.

"I'll have the (y/f/f)." Y/n replied, closing her menu.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. I am sure." Y/n spoke through gritted teeth.

I balled my hand into a fist underneath the table.

"That's a lot of food and it has a lot of calories. Are you sure you don't want a salad or something like that? Wouldn't want you gaining weight now, would we?" Oliver chuckled slightly, thinking that what he said was actually funny.

"Excuse me?" Y/n asked.

"You know, girls as beautiful as you should be eating salads and things like that. Seeing as you are only liked because of your bodies." He spoke before looking to me. "Am I right?"

What the hell?!
