As much as Jimin wished it wasn't true, things weren't all roses in his home. For the past five months, things seemed to be thorny for him and his two beautiful omegas. The happiness was faked in front of their two five-year-old daughters, Jojo and Suhyun, and their two-year-old son, Jiyong. Of course, the happiness wasn't always fake, but more often than not, Jimin found himself pretending to be happy while playing with his babies.

Unfortunately, due to his busy work schedule, Jimin had no time to sit his two mates down to talk about this rough patch in the relationship. His job was demanding, leaving him to work twelve-hour shifts while the omegas were busy with their own jobs outside of the home. Jungkook worked as a personal trainer for omegas, while Yoongi was a freelance medical transcriber.

As of last month, Jungkook's boss told him to stay home and not worry about work, so he was able to help Yoongi look after the babies during the four or six hours of work he had per day. Instead of the rough patch smoothing over, things seemed to only get worse.

Yoongi was sad, Jungkook was sad, and because his mates were sad, Jimin was distraught. He had no idea how to solve anything and it tore him apart.

"Babes?" Jimin called, confused as to why he wasn't ambushed by two rambunctious girls and his little boy toddling behind them, arms out for a hug.

The alpha started his new schedule today: instead of working from eight in the morning to eight at night, he worked from eight in the morning to four in the afternoon. Surely, the kids would still be awake and driving Jungkook and Yoongi insane.

"Kitchen, Jimin-ah!" Jungkook called, so Jimin followed his voice to the kitchen, where the omega was standing at the sink doing something.

He got closer, stopping behind Jungkook to rest his chin on his shoulder. Their close friends always poked fun at Jimin for his height, since Jungkook was taller than him. Yoongi usually retorted, "That's why he has me."

"Hey, baby," Jungkook hummed, not looking up from cutting his strawberries, "Hobi-hyung and TaeTae have the kids. They'll be back around eight, so I hope you don't mind eating vegetarian tonight. White chili is in the slow cooker already; the smell of meat has been making really sick."

Jimin kissed his younger mate's shoulder, reaching around to caress his stomach. "Of course, Kookie. I don't know what you use, but the meat substitute tastes just like real chicken." He smiled at the feeling of warm skin underneath his hands.

Jungkook was pregnant with another pup, but this pregnancy proved to be even more difficult than the last, which was why his boss put him on paid leave. He didn't lack energy like last time, but just about everything made him sick and he was constantly in pain. Jimin felt guilty for doing this to him.

The omega's smile faded, his scent turning slightly sour with sadness and stress. "Hyung's been in the bedroom all day. I can't get him to come out to eat, let alone get a few words out of him. So, I called Hobi-hyung...I think Yoongi-hyung is mad at me." He sniffled a little and had to set down the knife he was using.

The alpha frowned, turning Jungkook in his arms to face him. His heart tightened at the sight of tears running down the younger's face. "Jungkook, why would you think Yoongi-hyung is mad at you?"

"B-because," Jungkook sniffled, muffling a sob behind his hand, "he's been distant s-since I became pregnant. When...when you're not here, h-he only talks to the kids. He only smiles for...for them."

Jimin wasn't oblivious; he saw the look in Yoongi's eyes when Jungkook told them he was pregnant once again. After Jojo, Yoongi couldn't have any more children, and it tore him up inside. But when Jungkook was pregnant with Jiyong, none of what was going on now happened. He helped the younger omega as much as he could and often cuddled with him. Now, he won't even talk to his omega mate? That wasn't what Jimin wanted to hear at all.
