Chapter 6

Elle's POV:
Its been a month since I left. Nabalitaan ko kay Nicole na naging aloof daw si Ayisha since I gave her the letter . I feel guilty for her already . Im doing great I started third quarter sa school already . Mama Imee's birthday is coming . I plan to shop for her gift and Im still hesitant if I would tell Ayisha where I am rn. Im gonna withdraw some money sa may Bulacan . Hindi naman ako lumayo nandito lang ako sa Alabang . I also heard that my family is still looking for me . Bakit sa Bulacan ako kukuha ng pera ? Simply , Naka track ang mga bank transactions ko kay Dad . Yes Im recovered now but Im not yet ready to face them . Papadaan ko nalang kay Nicole yung gift ko para kay Mama Imee .
Susunduin nya ako ngayon kasi she wont let me go out alone . Mahirap na raw , baka makilala ako ng ibang tao . One time nga someone almost recognize me . Ginawa namin ay nag palit kami ng damit she gave me her clothes and I gave her mines. Then someone is waiting for us sa labas ng comfort room ng mall buti nalang our plan worked.
"You ready ?" Nicole asked na nakadungaw sa pintuan ko .
"Yup." I said at inayos ang cap ko.
"Make sure mag dala ka ng extrang damit if ever." Sabi nya and I just nod."I start mo na yung sasakyan bababa narin ako ." Sabi ko . Dinala ko na yung bag na may clothes ko at dumiretso sa car and make sure na nakalock na ang pinto ng bahay. Pinaandar na nya na ang sasakyan. If you dont ask Nicole is 18 already that why na issue-han na sya ng student's licence.
"Nic hindi ba nag tataka ang mommy mo kung saan ka nag pupunta ?" I ask
"Hindi naman . Sabi nya kasi na i enjoy ko daw teenage life ko . Well she also said na if I need her or anything tawagan ko lang sya and besides busy sya sa mga business meetings nya and I understand na important sa kanya ang company." She said."How 'bout your Dad ?" I ask at umiling na lang sya." Since nag hiwalay sila ni Mom nandun na sya sa bago nyang pamilya . Well I've met my siblings from him naman na already and they seemed nice and they see and respects me as their ate so yahh." Sabi nya. "If ever na mag mahal ulit si mommy mo ng ibang lalaki papayagan mo ba ? If ever." I ask she smiled . "Oo naman it's been 10 years na single ang mother earth . Kung may mahanap sya edi go !" She said . I smiled . "Ang swerte ng Mommy mo sayo." I said and look out of the window . Si mama kaya swerte sakin ?." Hoy hindi ! Ako ang swerte sa kanya . She might look strict but she isn't and she gives her best to have some time with me . And btw mag out of the country kami this december . Sasama ka ba ? We can tell her our secret I promise she wont tell anyone naman." She said umiling na lang ako."Mother and daughter bonding nyo yun . Minsan mo na nga lang masosolo ang mommy mo sasama mo pa ako." I said. "Ehh anong plano mo ? Di ka naman pwedeng mag spend ng holidays alone . Di ako papayag ." She said at lumiko kami pakaliwa . "Do you think its a good idea na bumalik na ako sa kanila this Christmas ?" I ask. "Oo naman matutuwa ang pamilya mo nun. Tsaka if you ask me you had enough time alone and enough time to analyse the things that had happened . Alam ko naman na hindi ka marunong magalit when it's your family we're talking about." She said tama naman sya.
"But I dont think my family is here for holidays." I said."We go to states every time its almost Christmas ." I added ." You told me before na since your twin is in the hospital di na kayo nag travel papuntang states and how's Tine btw ?" She ask. "Well you have a point . Its been two years since umuwi kami sa states . Tine is doing great she had a little progress sabi nung nurse na kaibigan ko ." I said . Nicole is Tine's best friend but we're also friends pero mas close si Nicole kay Tine ." Talaga ?! May progress daw si Tine ?!! Omg thats a great news ." She said with all smiles. "Nic thank you for helping me ha ? Kahit si kambal ang best friend mo tinutulungan mo pa rin ako." I said and look at her. "Ano ka ba ! Kaibigan din naman kita ahh. Alam mo kahit mas childish sayo si Tine binibilin ka nya sakin minsan . She knows you more than anyone . Lagi nyang sinasabi sakin na kahit ikaw ang mas mature ka sa kanya sya parin daw ang mas matanda at kailangan ka niyang alagaan." She said I look at her with teary eyes . "She said that ?" I ask . "Oo mahal na mahal ka nun . Kaya the day accident happened that's when I started looking after you for her. Di man ako laging nasa tabi mo katulad ni Ayisha . I make sure naman na you're safe. " She said "Thank you talaga Nic . Hindi ko alam kung paano kita mababayaran pero I can assure you na pag balik ko sa amin dadalawin ko sya lagi. Sasama pa kita ." Sabi ko sa kanya.  "Aba dapat lang ! Baka i kick out kita dito sa kotse !!" She said that made me laugh . I turned on the radio and we start jamming with the music .

"We're here !" Nic said.
"Ako nalang bababa dito ka nalang sa kotse may cctv ang mga machines baka makita ka." Sabi ko . "Sige kita naman kita from here."sabi naman nya. Agad akong bumaba at buti nalang walang pila . Nag withdraw ako ng 200k . Hindi naman sa ma gastos ako but I have a lot of gifts to buy and kailangan ko na rin mag bayad ng bills sa tubig at kuryente . 20k lang ang maximum na kayang i withdraw sa isang transaction kaya 10 times akong nag withdraw . Pag katapos ay agad na kaming umalis ni Nicole .
"Saan tayo next ?" She ask
"MOA teh ! Na stress ako don teh!" Sabi ko at nag tanggal ng shades ,mask at cap.
"Anong bibilhin mo kay Tita Imee ?" She ask . My family knows her. "Maybe Adidas superstar and whole set of lipstick." I said."Mag babayad na rin ako ng bills ng bahay." I added . "Ako na kailangan mo mag sulat ng name dun." Sabi nya kaya pumayag nalang ako. "Bibilhan ko na rin ng gifts ang fam ." Sabi ko ."That's great! Mukhang gagabihin tayo sa mall ahh." Nicole said sarcastically. "Ano ka ba ! Syempre bibilhan din kita pa thank you ko na rin sayo hahaha!" I said. "Yun ohh ! But you dont have to ! Ikaw talaga !" Sabi nya."No im planning to get you and kambal a friendship bracelet sasabay ko na samin ni Ayisha." I said "Ok." She said .
We arrived at the mall mga 1:30 pm kasi we had a stop over kasi nag drive thru kami sa jolibee for lunch. Im waiting for Nicole here sa first cubicle sa comfort room kasi nag babayad sya ng bills .
"Elle let's go !" Nicole said while knocking . I put on my mask and shades and got out of the cubicle.
We first go to Adidas to buy some rubber shoes for Mama Imee and the Manotoc brothers I'll also buy shoes for ate Cara and baby Mia . I really hope this fits Mia . Then after we go to another shoe shop to buy some leader shoes for Papa Bonget , Dad and the Marcos brothers . Then I bought some wristwatches for my brothers,Jacobo and Tito Anton. Then to our jewellery store to buy 5 sets of jewellery for Mama meldy ,Mama Imee,Mama Aimee,Mama Liza and Mama Irene , 2 sets of friendship bracelets, earings for ate xandra,  anklets for our babies, Mother and daughter necklace for Tita Dawn and Ayisha and another two necklaces for Tine and Nic . I go to a gaming store to buy some robux for Andy and pumunta ako sa cosmetics store to buy some lipstick for Mama Imee and for the girls of course. We paid it all sa counter.
"That will be 159,845.47 pesos maam. Will you pay by card or cash?" The  girl said . "I'll pay cash ,Can I buy gift bags?" I ask ."Of course Maam that will  cost about 160,000 pesos maam" She said I gave her the money and get the pushcarts and go straightly to the car . Its already 7:36 pm and we decided to eat in a Chinese restaurant I paid nalang din an extra 1000 pesos for the Vip room. We didnt take long and arrived about 9:00 pm in the evening . Dito na rin daw matutulog si Nicole . Dalawa naman ang kwarto dito binigay ko na rin sa kanya yung necklace at bracelet . Sabi ko ay mauna na siya matulog dahil ilalagay ko pa sa mga gift bags ang mga regalo . Hindi na sya nag reklamo , Siguro ay pagod na sa pag mamaneho. Nilagay ko na ang mga regalo sa bags . The bag is plain white with a ribbon . Gusto ko minimalistic lang ang design para mukhang malinis . I was finish packing the gifts kaya in-arrange ko na ang Christmas tree na binili ko last week . Bakit ba ?!! Excited na ko for Christmas ehh . I was finish arranging my mini Christmas tree by 2am in the morning I put down the gifts at the bottom of the tree and go straight to bed .
