Chapter 18

Elle's POV:
Nag breakfast na kami pero hindi parin ako pinapansin ni Mama Irene . Grabe naman si Mama pati mga pamangkin ko pinagseselosan . We are getting ready kasi paalis narin kami . Nakiligo sa bathroom ko si Andy kasi dito rin naman sya natulog kagabi . Si Mia is with her Mom also taking aa bath goes on with the baby and Ate Xandra. Im done with my outfit , actually these are the last pair of clothes that I have because 2 pairs of outfit lang ang dala ko at nasa apartment ko ang iba . Nakihiram nga ako kay Ate Cara dahil naubusan ako ng pangbahay , parehas lang naman kami ng size kaya ayos na rin yun . Bibili nalang ako later sa mall dahil mukhang matatagalan pa kami dito sa Ilocos dahil dito rin kami mag cecelebrate ng New year . Im fixing my hair and twist it in a clip lumabas na si Andy and he ask me to fix his hair .
"Tita can you please fix my hair like before ?" He ask.
"Sure Ands !" I said. "Let me get my hairgel first in my room really quick ." Sabi nito at tumakbo palabas. "Careful !" Sigaw ko . Inaayos ko na ang laman ng bag ko when Kuya Vinny knock. "Hey there Ms. Beautiful!" Sabi nya . "Naks naman Kuya ! Thank you , Bihis na bihis ka ahh ! Saan kayo pupunta ?" Tanong ko sa kanya . He sat on my bed and look around the room. "Well , We're going to take the kids sa park then take them for an Ice cream afterwards." Sabi ni Kuya . "Oh that's good atleast di kayo mababagot dito sa bahay , Bantayan nyo sila ng maiigi ahh !, pag isa sa kanila umuwi ng may gasgas di lang kayo kila ate lagot !" Bilin ko . "Aye aye Captain !" Sabi nya that made me laugh . Sumunod naman sila Kuya Simon at Sandro . "Oh Kuyas ! Have a seat ." Sabi ko and get my wallet from my drawer and put it in my bag . "May papabili ba kayo samin except from food ?" Tanong ko at umupo sa harapan ng Vanity mirror ko . "Red na Polo shirt para saming tatlo . Need namin for Kuya Matt's upcoming caravans ." Sabi ni Kuya Simon . "Oh yeah !, sakin phone case luma na kasi yung akin." Sabi ni Kuya Sandro.  "Oh yes ! I also need a red clothing . Siguro naman papayagan nyo akong sumama sa caravan ano ?" Tanong ko sa kanila. "Ofcourse liit but we have to look at our schedules first . Di naman pwede na lahat tayo nasa isang caravan ." Sabi ni Kuya Vinny. "Yeah We have to assign someone each caravan ." Sabi ni Kuya Simon . "Yes but dapat sa proclamation rally ni Kuya Matt kumpleto tayo ." Sabi ni Kuya Sandro . I stood up and so they did . "Yun lang ba wala na kayong ibang ibibilin ?" Tanong ko and they said that's all and exited the room . Bumalik na si Andy and I start to fix his hair. Ewan ko ba dito sa batang ito ! Ang bata bata papumoporma na agad , pagkatapos ko syang ayusan ay nagpunta na siya kila Tito Sandro nya . Pumunta ako kila Ate Xandra  . Nasa Kwarto sila ngayon ni Mama Imee dahil they are putting make up on each other. "Pumikit ka kasi Cara ! Ayusin mo nga !" Inis na sabi ni Ate Xandra. "Ito naman napaka harsh ito na !" Sabi naman ni Ate Cara that made me chuckle. Silang tatlo lang rito si Ate Xandra, Ate Cara at Mama Imee. Pinuntahan ko si Mama Imee and put my head on her shoulder . She is currently applying on her lipstick that I bought. "I know that shade will suit you !" Sabi ko. "Ang ganda nga 'nak ehh thank you !" Sabi nito and kiss me on the cheek . "Ay nalagyan ng lipstick wait lang tanggalin ko ." Sabi nya at carefully take th lipstick off of my cheek which is nakakakiliti. "Mama nakakakiliti hahaha !" Tawa ko ." Ahh ganon ahh oh ito ang sayo !" Sabi ni Mama and start firing me with tickles napakalong na ako sa kanya dahil sa kakatawa nang biglang mag bukas ang pinto and reveal Mama Irene. She saw us and immediately tell us na aalis  na . "We are leaving in five minutes quick ." She said coldly and slam the door hard. "Luhh si Mama galit parin ?" Sabi ni Ate Xandra . "Anyare dun ?" Tanong ni Ate Cara. "Nag tatampo parin sayo yun 'nak !, nadagdagan pa at nahuli tayong dalawa !" Sabi ni Mama Imee and laugh. "Ikaw kasi ma ! Ang harot mo !" Sabi ko at tumayo . "Tara na baka mainip pa si Mama dragon mag buga pa ng fire ." Sabi ko na ikinatawa naming lahat . Lumabas na kami at nag paalam sa boys bago dumiretso sa van . Si Mama Imee ay nasa passenger seat while mag kakatabi naman si Mama Irene , Mama Meldy , Mama Aimee and Mama Liza who's sleeping.For sure pagod toh kagabi.Nag tatampo pa rin sakin si Mama kaya naisipan ko na inisin pa sya lalo . Magkakatabi kami nila Ate Cara sa likod kaya I start a topic . "Ate Xandra ano ba ibibili ko para kay baby ?" Tanong ko . "Maybe damit nalang para magamit nya." Sabi ni Ate Xandra . "How's your home schooling ?" Tanong ni Ate Cara . "Its fine it will resume sa January 5 kaya babalik ako sa apartment ko mga January 3 kasi kailangan ko pa mag linis ng bahay  for sure maalikabok na dun ." Sabi ko . Game on . "Hindi ka pa ba uuwi sa bahay ?" Tanong ni Ate Xandra. "Hindi pa Ate , pupunta nalang ako dun then uuwi ako every night." Sabi ko. "Sabi mo your schedule will start sa 5 then anong araw ka makakapunta hanggang sa end of january lang kami dito." Sabi ni Ate Xandra na kumindat at sinakyan ang trip ko at nakita naman yun ni Ate Cara na sumali sa amin. "I dont know Ate but I'll try once or twice a week or every two weeks. Tiningnan ko kasi yung schedule ko and there's a lot of time conflicts na baka hindi na rin ako  makapunta tuwing saturday and sunday ." Sabi ko acting sad . "Di ka ba pwedeng mag absent muna ?" Tanong ni Ate  Cara I look at the mirror and see Mama Irene looking outside the window almost crying , I look at Mama Imee and smirk with that she knew what game we are playing . "Di pwede Ate ehh malapit na ako mag senior highschool and I have to keep up with my grades and padami ng padami mga requirements ko nakaka frustrate nga ehh!" Sabi ko and pout . "Edi we'll help you finish your works nalang ." Sabi ni Mama Imee. "Mama that's cheating ! I can manage it on my own but I just really need to focus on it ." Sabi ko . "Doon ka muna kaya sa bahay ko tumira ." Sabi ni Mama Aimee na tumingin sa amin sa likod at kumindat . Yun oh !. "Sure Mama Aimee ! Kailan ka ba uuwi sa inyo ? Sasabay nalang ako sayo ." Sabi ko with excited tone para kapanipaniwala. "Sa January 2 , G ?" Tanong nya . "G !" Sabi ko .
"Hindi Aimee dito muna si Elle sa akin , right Ellie ?" Tanong ni Mama Meldy sakin na nakatingin sa akin in the mirror at kumindat .   Ang rami ko talaga kakampi. Love you Mama Meldy muahh."Mama  Meldy  Im not sure but pwede ka naman sumama samin ni Mama Aimee. " sabi ko . "What about our plans visiting your twin ?" Tanong ni Mama Irene na ikinatahimik naming lahat . "Well thats why Im gonna go home two days earlier ." Sabi ko with monotone . "Im gonna visit her once I got home ." Sabi ko and look at Mama Imee who's stopping herself from laughing . "But We suppose to go there together." Sabi nya with authority.  "Well as what I see our schedules conflicts so why not go alone." I said with the authority visible sa aking boses. "How can you be sure ?" Tanong nya . "How can I not be ?" Tanong ko I look at Ate Xandra who's hiding her face. "You haven't ask what my schedule is , and your Dad's how can you be sure ?" Tanong ni Mama Irene . I know she's going to burst out. "What ever ma , we are here !" I said to lift the mood . We got in to the Mall and we parted . Ates are in the hair salon while Mama Meldy ,Mama Liza and Mama Aimee are getting manicure and pedicure.  So its Mama Irene, Mama Imee and I whose left here in the department store . Then someone call Mama Imee on the phone and she answered it . "Hello Aimee ? Ah ganon ba ? Sige punta na ako ako dyan ." Sabi ni Mama Imee at binaba ang phone . "Anong sabi Manang ?" Tanong ni Mama Irene.  "May promo kasing kinuha si Mama Meldy kailangan pa daw ng isang tao , ako nalang daw . Sige maiwan ko na kayo ha ?Ito credit card ko Bye !" Sabi ni Mama Imee at nag madaling pumunta kila Mama Meldy. I just smirk kasi part ito plan . I start walking pushing my cart and start roaming around as Mama follows me . Pumunta muna ako sa part ng store na may toys . I pick up a three-story doll house and new dolls for Mia as she requested . Binilihan ko rin ng kotse yung Barbie nya para kumpleto na . "Elle isn't that too much ? You're spoiling the kids ." Sabi ni Mama. "That's what Titas do Ma ." Sabi ko at dumiretso sa baby section . Im choosing between over-alls or terno for the baby . "Ma what do you think is better ?this one or this one ?" Tanong ko . "The terno is more convenient. "Sabi ni Mama so I pick up five terno and a pair of shoes . "Look this shoe is so tiny !" I said that made her chuckle. Atleast she did. We move on to the kid's section to pick up Andy's clothes . I'll also for buy Mia. I pick a Red , Black and Navy blue polo shirts for Andy and also shorts . I also pick up some dresses for Mia , they are really cute . I always dress her up cause she looks cute. Living doll ko sya ehh charr . "Should I buy Andy shoes ? He complained last night kasi , ang sikip na daw ng rubber shoes nya." Tanong ko kay Mama. "Ako nalang bibili for him , go find a pair also Mia , I'll stay here nalang." Sabi nya kaya iniwan ko sya at nag hanap ng sapatos . When I come back she's there sitting. "Mama here you go !, Also I need to buy polo shirts for the boys , Kailangan daw kasi nila for campaigning. "Sabi ko. "Ok bayaran nalang natin sa card ni Manang ." Sabi ni Mama that's why we start to shop for the boys.
Nang matapos kami ay We decided to go to starbucks kasi nagugutom na kami . Pinabalik na namin sa bodyguards namin yung mga pinamili namin sa van . "Here's your order Maam thank you !" Sabi ng crew na nag serve sa amin and we thank him back .
"Anak ? Di ka parin ba uuwi sa bahay ?" Tanong ni Mama . I wanna laugh . She looks cute when she's kawawa. "I dont know ma ." Sabi ko and sip some frappuccino. "Anak umuwi ka na samin please ? Di na ako nag tatampo ." Sabi ni Mama na mangilid ngilid na ang luha. I sit beside her and hug her . Bakit ba ang rupok ko 😭😭😭. "Anak please ?" Tanong nya . "Mama ano ba kasi kinakatampo mo ? Pati ba naman mga apo mo pinagseselosan mo ." Sabi ko and kiss her cheek. "Kasi ikaw ehh ! Ayaw mo ko katabi !" Sabi nyo wiping her tears . "Di naman sa ayaw ma , Di lang tayo kasya sa kama ko . Queen size kama ko remember?" Tanong ko as she nod . "Sorry na mama I love you !" Sabi ko and smile . "I love you too !" She said and kiss me on the forehead . We happily drink our coffees and go to the salon after . Nakita namin sila Ate Xandra having a hair treatment . Mama said she will have her hair trimmed kasi mahaba na raw . "Mama mag pagupit na rin kaya ako ng buhok , mahaba na kasi ehh ." Sabi ko . "Go girl ! Kahit anong hairstyle naman siguro bagay sayo !" Sabi ni Ate Cara na nag papakulay ng buhok . "Oo nga Elle ! Simula ng maging boyfriend ko ang kuya mo yan na hairstyle mo !" Sabi ni Ate Xandra well she have a point . "Mama pwede ?" Tanong ko sa kanya. "Oo naman , ikaw bahala" sabi ni Mama kaya agad akong umupo at kinuha ang catalogue. I'll have short hair this time .

Sabi ni Mama its fine with her wag lang daw ako mag pakulay ng buhok . "Maam would you like to donate your hair sa isa pong foundation for leukemia children survivors ?" Tanong ng babae sakin . "Cause I think it's long enough to make two wigs for two children." She explained. "I would love to !" Sabi ko and she started putting on bands on my hair start cutting it . "Oh my ghod !!" Tili ko and cover my eyes. "Omg excited na ako !" Sabi ni Ate Xandra . A few moments had past and Im done ! "Anak it suits you !" Sabi ni Mama "Let me take a picture of you!" She added and take a picture of me . "Yan ang ganda !" Sabi ni Mama . "Thanks Ma !" Sabi ko. "Ay pak ! Ang ganda oh !" Sabi ni Ate Cara . "Wala na Cara , may nanalo na !" Sabi ni Ate Xandra na ikinatawa ko . "Tara na girls hinihintay na tayo nila Manang sa labas " sabi ni Mama . Pinauna ko na sila at sumunod sa kanila .
"Manang !" Bati ni Mama. "Ay oh ang ganda ng Ading ko !" Sabi ni Mama Imee at nakipag beso . "Girls ! You're glowing ha ! Nasan ang pamangkin ko ?" Tanong nya . "Right here !" At kumaway sa likod nila Ate Xandra . "Apo ! Anong nangyari sa buhok mo?!!" Bulyaw ni Mama Imee.  "Why ? Dont like it ?" Tanong ko . "Hindi naman 'nak nagulat lang ako ! Ang ganda mo !" Sabi ni Mama Imee. Lumapit sa akin si Mama Liza at inikot ako . "Hey short hair suits you too ! Ang ganda mo , lalo ka naging kamukha ni Irene !" Sabi niya that made me chuckle . "Mama Liza naman ! Kahit naman mahaba buhok ko kamukha ko talaga si Mama !" Sabi ko. "Uy bati na sila hahaha !" Biro ni Mama Aimee. I look at Mom at inakbayan nya ako . "Let's go girls its almost dinner , Where do you wanna eat ?" Tanong ni Mama Meldy . "Chinese Resto !" We said in chorus. We hop on the van and get in the road. "We should order foods for the boys and kids after dinner . Sa McDonald's nalang siguro " sabi ko that we all agree with . We have dinner in the Resto and drive thru McDonald's before we go home .
