Hannah

I laughed and answered:

"Of course, not. We don't share the concept of "you", so I'm confused"

"Well, then I will explain to you. We turn to "you" (translated from Ukrainian. ви) when we want to show respect for someone we don't know, but when we get close, we turn to "you" ((translated from Ukrainian. ти)," he explained with a mysterious look.

"Are we close already?" I fell out without thinking.

"I think we are closer than half an hour ago," he winked at me.

"Yes... So what do you work as?" I'm not sure that I was interested in this very question, because now I was more focused on his ruffled hair. So, Hannah, keep it together!

"DJ in the club," he mumbled tired.

"Ooh... unexpectedly! This must be very interesting?" I wondered when I finally managed to take my eyes off the top of his head.

"Rather, very tiresome," Max again as if pulled away and looked away.

"If you do not like your work, why do you work there?" I was wondering. Although it's not for me to judge, I don't know what to do in life.

"Hannah, it's a very long and boring story," he responded seriously.

"Well, since I am your only listener today..." it seems that he wanted to say something abruptly, turning to me, but in the end he caught my knee with his huge palm and, fortunately, did not remove his hand... Fortunately?

"It looks like you're completely frozen..." he gently ran his long fingers over my leg, which gave me the creeps, and then he looked at my face anxiously.

"Maybe not at all..." to be honest, up to that moment I didn't realize how cold I was.

Max got up and started taking off his sweatshirt. Beneath it was a black T-shirt, which tightened his biceps and looked great with blue fitted shorts almost to his knees. On the inside of his left hand he had a heart-shaped tattoo inside his skull and an inscription that I couldn't make out.

"Get up," he commanded.

I obeyed him and he carefully threw his huge hoodie on me. I put my hands up my sleeves and he zipped me up and said:

"It fits your dark hair very well, just like me. Only your eyes are blue..."

"Thank you for your care," we sat down on the bench again and it seemed to me, or he really sat closer to me than last time.

"Tell us about yourself. How did you find yourself in our city? Or, on the contrary, how did you find yourself in New York? By the way, I did not immediately notice your accent. It is quite weak," I heard a genuine interest in its voice.

"Well, 20 years ago my mother entered the summer school of English in New York. That's where she actually met my father. He was one of those locals with whom students practiced speaking. For him, it was a small summer job. But very soon... they got married. And then I appeared and decided not to include into the story the facts I learned recently"

"So all your life you live in New York?"

"Yes, but my mother is from here, and every few years we come here to see my grandmother. However, this time I came alone," it is unpleasant to lie even to strangers.

"Well, I was lucky. Not often we have guests from New York," Max smiled with his very warm smile.

"And what about you? Why don't you tell your story? Why do you work as a DJ?" I was really curious to know why he reacted that way last time.
