Asra Alnazar x Trans! Reader
{Requested by: @Atticxs_lmao

[This is a they/he pronouns reader oneshot]
[[This oneshot also contains a pretty huge spoiler for anyone who hasn't played The Arcana/finished any routes yet—]]
[[[Also, if you'd like to partake in the vibe, I listened to some AURORA songs while writing this: Runaway, Running with the Wolves, Warrior, Under the Water, Winterbird, Animal, Forgotten Love, and Queendom. Her soft voice just brings me the same comforting feeling as the fictional character I seem to be so madly in love with does.]]]
[WARNING!!: Misgendering, people being genuinely just assholes-]
[I AM SO SORRY THIS TOOK LITERALLY A WHOLE ASS MONTH AND THEN SOME TO FINISH, I'VE BEEN DEALING WITH SOME SHIT LATELY, BUT I WORKED REALLY HARD ON IT DESPITE THAT! I HOPE YOU LIKE IT AND I AM SO SO SORRY!]

You were in the process of setting up shop for the day; rearranging herbs and bottles of various different mixtures and concoctions, checking all the incense wires were in their respective jars, sweeping the floor, adjusting the blankets and pillows in the back room, shaking out the cloth before laying back across the table, smoothing a hand over it with a blank expression.  A part of you wished Asra would magically appear, walking down the stairs into the shop to wrap their arms around your waist and rest their chin on your shoulder while they smiled at you for no reason, as per usual.
But alas, Asra was away in Nopal for a few days. Said he was getting a feeling about something, and you offered to go with them, but Asra kindly declined saying they wouldn't be too long. So, here you were. Getting the tingle of yet another unfamiliar feeling creeping along your back, all alone.   Well, not completely alone, you recall, getting goosebumps from a slightly chilly creature slithering along patches of exposed skin. Faust wraps her way around your shoulders, winding herself tighter as she speaks.
"Squeeze for friend!" You glance down at her, just now realizing you haven't moved an inch in at least the past ten minutes. With a huff, you skim your fingers over her pastel colored scales while a small smile tugs at your lips; you always loved how vibrantly she contrasted against the dark fabrics of your outfits.
"Morning, Faust." You curl your finger under her chin, smiling fondly when she lets her head go slack against your hand when you pet her gently. You glance at the small clock adjacent from the curtain to the back room, seeing it was about time for you to head off to Portia's cottage for lunch—nothing super special, just a simple occasion the two of you had set up a little while back to have a homemade lunch at least one day a week.
"You coming with, Faust?" You ask her; she perks up, eyes sparkling with excitement as she replies simply.
"Friend Portia!" You chuckle, letting her curl up around your neck underneath your light grey scarf while you sling your small homemade bag over your shoulder, the strap rested across your binded chest. You blow out the candles head out, closing the door and locking it you press your hand flat to the wood, casting the 'Cross-Me-Not' spell before starting on your way.
Walking through the market, you stopped by Selasi's stand for some pumpkin bread, (I made Selasi's pumpkin bread and it was incredible ksheodjxks) making a little small talk while the fresh loaf finished baking. When it was done, he wrapped it up to keep it warm and set it in a basket, handing it to you with a friendly farewell. You cross through the main square, eyes flickering over the center fountain for a moment until your journey is stopped abruptly when you bump against something solid with a quiet 'oof'.
"Watch where you're walking—! You got some- some weird, sparkly dust all over my genuine furs! These are expensive, you know!"
'Ugh.' Was all you thought as you rolled your eyes. Of course, out of everyone in Vesuvia you could have run into, it just had to be Lucio. When the man actually realized who you were, he smiled wickedly.
"Oh! Well if it isn't the little Magician! What was your name..? (D/n)! I will say, you've become quite the clumsy woman, haven't you?" He sneered. He knew what he was doing, and it pissed you off. Your blood boiled and Asra wasn't here to help you simmer down right now.
   "Aren't you—"
"The beloved Count of Vesuvia? Why, yes I am, little lady." He stepped into your space, you don't think he understands just how unhinged you can be without someone who actually has a handle on the concept of emotional outlets.
"Ex-Count." The pitch of your voice dropped dangerously as you glared right back into his stupid, stupid eyes. You refused to look away, a scowl on your features. Lucio took your venomous response as a challenge, stepping closer to you just like you wanted him to.  As soon as he was close enough, you started shaking with rage. After everything he's done, he gets to come back too? Hell no.
"Friend okay?" You heard Faust ask, catching her cocked head out of the corner of your eye.
"Yeah..," you muttered to her, "I'm fine." You reeled back to build up speed faster than that goat bitch could comprehend and punched him square in the chest, expelling the air from his lungs as he wheezed. Then, you kicked him hard in the nuts, making him double over and crumple to the cobblestone ground.
"Bitch." You hissed. No one stopped to pay any mind to the scene. After all, no one really gave a shit about Lucio. He was always selfish, egotistical, and just an asshole in general.  As you watched him whine and wail about how he was "going to have you hanged for this" and "you better lock your shop up tight at night"—empty threats—you realized something.   You slowly turn your head to meet Faust's eyes as she tilts her head again.
"We won't tell Asra, okay?" She bleps innocently.
"Secret!" She boops her nose to yours, a quiet giggle escaping your lips.
   "Now, where were we?"
  "Portia!"
