"Papayag ka na sa arranged marriage?" Matt asked me after I told him what happened earlier. "Kasi mukhang gusto talaga nila tita base sa kwento mo."

I shook my head. "Ayaw ko pa rin pero 'yong friendship with Andres wasn't a bad idea. I really needed the connection and their family had been in politics for decades." As if I could be in an arranged marriage when I already knew who I wanted to be with.

He nodded his head slowly while looking at a distance as if he was thinking about something.

I poked his arm. "Anong iniisip mo?"

He sighed. "Wala naman... Nag-aalala lang ako sa'yo."

"Maybe I was just being overdramatic with the whole situation." I didn't want him to get the wrong idea about my parents.

"Hindi ka overdramatic. Nag-aalala lang talaga ako sa'yo dahil baka lalo kang mapahamak sa media kapag naging magkaibigan kayo noong Andres Cantabria na 'yon."

"I'll try my best not to mind them." I smiled at him. "So, how was your day?"

"Nakakapagod ang training tapos kapag pahinga pa sa training gumagawa ako ng homeworks at nagre-review para sa mga nami-miss ko na mga lessons." He sighed. "Buti nga kasama namin 'yong ibang athletes na ka-batch namin kaya sabay-sabay kaming nag-aaral."

"Tapos ka na sa schoolworks mo?" I asked him. I am happy that he was with me but I can't let him neglect his schoolworks just for me.

"Natapos ko na kanina noong pinag-lunch at pinag-break kami sa practice." He chuckled. "Oo nga pala! Wala na akong training sa Sabado, movie marathon tayo? Para naman ma-distract ka rin diyan sa pinapagawa nila tita."

"Yeah! May mga bagong release din na movies ang Netflix."

"Pahinga ko rin 'yon."

We talked for hours until it was time for him to go home. I went inside my room to prepare my things for tomorrow because I was planning to go to Matt's game as a surprise.

I opened my closet and checked my wardrobe for something that I could wear to Matt's game. I didn't want to look too formal or professional because the last time that I wore a dress to Matt's game, people were staring at me with judging eyes and it felt like I didn't fit in with the rest of them. Even Matt dresses like them!

I chose a red button-up loose shirt, black fitted pants, and sneakers. I saw this style on Facebook so maybe it will still look good on me. If it looks good on other people, it will surely look good on me.

"Callie! Hi!" Blair greeted me and nag-beso pa when I arrived at the venue of Matt's game. She was with Ella who was on her phone, I think she was typing.

I smiled. "Hi! Where's Matt?" I asked Blair, not minding Ella's presence.
