"How's your first day of 10th grade?" I asked Matt when I visited him at his house. He told me that he had an intense training day, so I decided to see him instead of him going to me.

I don't know why I'm exerting extra effort on this... When we were just friends, it was fine with me to not see him but now, it's like I have to see him. Like I have to make an effort for him.

I'm still not used to having these feelings for him and acting on them but since we confessed to each other, I didn't know how to act. I wanted to be different but I'm still in the process of keeping my feelings in check and trying to make Matt feel what I feel about him.

"Ayos lang naman... Nag-umpisa agad kami ng training tapos pinag-aasikaso na agad kami ng club promotion sa Math Club kahit next week pa naman dapat namin problema 'yon, inumpisahan na rin namin ni Axel 'yong robot namin." He sighed and played with my hand. "Ikaw? Anong ginawa mo kanina?"

"Oh! Rehearsals for ballet and piano." I grinned. "I have another ballet recital next week. You're coming, right?"

"Oo naman. Nakapagpaalam na ako noong sinabi mo last month," he said and chuckled. "Para namang nakakalampas sa akin mga performances mo."

I just shrugged because he was right. Ever since we were kids, he never missed a single recital, even his parents are always present. Even if everybody else doesn't go, I can always count on him when I need someone to watch my performance.

"Bakit ganyan ka na naman makatingin?" He chuckled and pinched my nose. "Ano na namang naiisip mo?"

I smiled and went closer to him which made my heart race but I cannot pull back because it might make things awkward. "I was just thinking how supportive you have been since we were kids and I don't give you much credit for it. So, thanks for always being around. I think we should really put a label on what we are."

He blinked several times while he was just looking at me with an amused expression on his face. "Next time, sabihan mo naman ako kapag may sasabihin ka na mga ganyan."

I frowned. "Why?"

He shrugged and turned away. "Wala lang."

I pulled him so I could see his face and my eyes widened when I noticed that his whole face was red even his neck. "Are you blushing?" I teased him.

He looked away again and busied himself with his things. "No."

"You are!" I teased him again. "Who would've thought that I can make Matt masungit blush?"

He frowned at me. "Hindi lang ako sanay. Dati naman kasi makulit ka lang tapos madaldal. Lahat ng reklamo mo tungkol sa mga bagay-bagay sa akin mo sinasabi." He sighed and massaged his temples. "Tapos biglang binanggit mo na lang 'yong label."

I laughed hard because he never frowned like that before. "Come on! I just want to tease you."
