Gabriela and Eleanor got out of bed at the same time for different reasons.

Gabriela got up early to do her hair, pick out the perfect outfit, do her makeup, and all that girly stuff.

Eleanor got out of bed early to study, practice magic (trying to get control of it), read, and it only took her about eight minutes to get ready.

Eleanor went to get dressed into one of the dresses Gabriela had begged her to wear; realizing all of them were dirty.

She decided to wear one of her navy blue dresses with a matching turtleneck and black tights. And obviously her brown boots and witch hat, along with two long braids.

She looked in the mirror. For the first time in a while, she finally felt like herself again.

She stuffed everything into her bag-along with the pink flower clip she usually wore in her hair- and stood by the door, waiting for Gabriela.

Gabriela came out of the bathroom right on time and grabbed her bag.

She walked to Eleanor than stopped in her tracks.

"What are you wearing?" She asked, looking at Eleanor's outfit.

"My other dresses were dirty, I think this will be fine." Eleanor explained.

Gabriela thought about it for a moment.

"Alright, fine, " She said, "just make sure to switch back tomorrow."

Eleanor started to open the door but then turned towards Gabriela.

They both looked at each other for a second.

"Yes?" Gabriela said, a confused expression on her face.

Eleanor thought about what she was going to say.

"I just-"

Thud!

Something hit the window.

The two girls turned around. They both stared at the window with confusion.

"What was that?" Gabriela asked, sounding a bit scared.

"I don't know." Eleanor muttered, walking gently towards the window.

She stayed about two feet away and looked out. When she saw nothing there, she turned back towards Gabriela.

"There's nothing-"

Thud!

Eleanor's words were interrupted by another thud on the window.

Gabriela backed up in fear.

Eleanor then turned around and walked back to the window, opening it.
She stuck her head out, looking for the cause of the ruckus.

Thud!

Except this time, instead of hitting the window, the thing flue head first into Eleanor.

She fell backwards as Gabriela screamed.

The thing got off of Eleanor's chest, looking worried. It picked up her witch hat, which had fallen off her head.

She sat up and looked at the supposed "bird".

"Chestery?!?" Eleanor exclaimed, her voice filled with confusion and surprise.

"Ella!" Chestery screeched .

He half ran half flue and gave Eleanor a hug. The flying monkey then set her hat back on her head.

"Chestery, how are you here?" Eleanor asked, hugging her monkey friend tightly.
