I look at Deb, the girl i'd lay down and die for and see her laughing with wesley-the co-owner/administrator of syntec-. I see them blushing at eachother, my heart aches when i see her with him but atleast she is happy
I see Deb look at me and smile, i smile back but then i hear my boss( Nelson Syphus the owner/founder of syntec) call my name. I make my way to his location and he smiles at me. I feel a rush of nostalga, euthoria and dread run through me. The last time he smiled at me in such manner was when he had a major breakthrough on an experiment and was able to sign a goverment contract to fund the project further.
"Benjamin, i have called you here for i need multiple subjects on which i can test on to start a new project." I looked at him with confounded shock, he was trusting me with the task of bringing the test subjects in.
"How many subjects do you need sir?" I asked with uncensored curiosity and he replied with.
"20,25 at most since you Deb and Wesley will be apart of this project as subjects so dont mess this up oh and Ben?"
"Yes sir?"
"Remember to breathe"
