Graduation day..

[Isang Buwan Ang Lumipas]

Alyn POV

"since our valedictorian is no longer here. let's call  our salitaturian Alyn Lynza Menzon!"  a round of applause from the crowd as I stood up and walked onto the stage.

"first of all, our salitaturian will first read the speech written by our valedictorian Zira Avria Madden Concepcion" nakangiting ibinigay sa'kin ni ms karol ang isang papel which is ang speech ni avria na dapat siya ang nandito ngayon at binabasa itong sulat niya sa mga taong nandidito.

I picked up the mic and stood up straight. huminga muna ako ng malalim. I haven't read avria's speech yet, I'm already crying.

"first of all, i would like to say goodmorning to our respected teachers, parents, classmates and my dear friends"  inhale exhale..

napatingin ako sa harapan. maging si gab at kyle ay patagong nagpupunas ng luha.

"my speech that I wrote from my heart is not that long. I just want to tell the students, classmates especially the students who are sitting in front of me now. please

stand tall and show the world what you are made of. When the world beats you down, find a reason to get back up again. Never give up on the success.
Try, try, try and try again. Feed your mind ideas of success, not failure.

Remember, the only way you can fail is if you give up. Every time you fail, you come one step closer to success.

at sempre bago matapos ang lahat, . I want to first thank the people who have been an important part of my life. since elementary school  I haven't had such a permanent friend who is always with me at school, on trips and in nonsense doing crazy things. sobrang laking pasasalamat ko sa mga taong to dahil nakilala ko sila. si gab,kyle,kero alyn at amelsa. maraming salamat at nakilala ko kayo. I'm sure if you didn't come into my life, my high school life wouldn't be complete. but because of you, my high school life will end happily"   panandalian ko munang inilayo ang sarili ko sa mic. the hell I can't breathe properly!

naramdaman ko ang paghagod ni ms.karol sa likod ko. I took another deep breath and looked at my fellow graduating students. nagsisi tuloy akong sumulyap sa harapan. i saw gab and kyle how they restrained themselves from crying

I cried again when I turned my eyes to the three empty seats reserved for amelsa, kero and avria. muli kong itinoun ang mga mata ko sa sulat ni avria

"this is it! let's face our new journey as college students at the same time. I want to see myself and my friends individually reaching what they want to be"

"btw  isang buwan nalang at gagraduate na tayo!"  kero said happily

"oo nga, college life is coming"  sabay naman ni avria sa topic

"btw ayokong magkahiwahiwalay tayo sa college! gusto ko kung sa'n kayo mag-aaral don din ako" si kyle
