Previously on her silence.....

"What you did Dylan yesterday night was good inexcusable. You could have died."

"Yeah because I might be expelled."

"Digusting don't ever wink again."

The fury was gone from his eye and something replaced it. Helplessness?

"I'm going to pick up a book and read and when those girls come here, I am going to make life very miserable for them."

AUDREY

More seconds go by and I stare  at my empty table feeling a lump rising in my throat.

"What am I going to do?"

Miss Rona is oblivious of everything happening around her. She is typing on her phone and laughing excitedly.

"What's wrong why aren't you writing?"Vera wispers.

  Thank God she noticed!

"I can't find my bag."

"I knew that Ruby girl was no good,hold on"Vera mumbles.

She brings out a pen from her bag.

"Here."

She also gives me a jotter.

"Use this. It's all i can spare"

The jotter is so tiny, I wonder how many words would fit per page.

"Thanks"I mumble.

"Ten minutes more."Miss Rona says glancing at her wrist watch.

   Set awon accurate time keeper.

  My heart suddenly increases it's beat and I feel dizzy.

"Audrey you can't give up so easily. You can this!"I mumble.
  
Ruby blows a kiss from her seat.

I was going to make her pay. She had gone way too far this time.

I try to arrange my thoughts. A reason why I want to stay in this school?

  Easy, because I  want to stay. I can't write that down. I can't think of anything.

I glance nervously at Vera, she has gone back to writing her essay.

My hands are shaking. I can't do this. I can't think of anything!!

"seven minutes"Miss Rona calls. She brings out a cracker from her bag and starts chewing

Does this woman keep a whole supermarket in her bag?

"Calm down Audrey think! You need to be calm in order to come up with a good essay."I breathe.

Reason why I want to stay in this school?

I recall all the happy and sad moments I had with my friends and a smile crosses my face.

We are more than friends we are family and giving all that up was too much. I wanted to stay.

  I pick up my pen to write.

"Five minutes more."

   By this time almost everyone has finished writing their essay and are Prof reading for errors.

I start writing.

"Time's up"Miss Rona says springing up from her seat and she starts collecting the notebooks.

I try to conclude my work but there is something about writing under pressure.

She approached my seat when I have barely reached two pages.

"Please ma I just have to conclude"I plead.

  She doesn't bat an eyelid, she picks up my jotter and walks to the next seat.

"Are you okay?"Xen asks approaching my seat.

"you are crying"Vera wipes a tear from my cheeks.

"It's over. I lost" I cry burying my head on the table.

Well..that was sad!

Something tells me Ruby should be ready for what's coming to her.
