Chapter eleven, Part one

.Chapter 11

Collin's P.O.V

"Leo!" I yelled as I threw open the door to my pack house. Leo came running out of the living room with wide, hopeful eyes. A funny sight to see from a middle-aged man.

"Did she come? Is she hear yet?" His eyes were bigger than a little kid's when they see a candy store for the first time. He looked around like the girl would suddenly jump out from underneath an invisibility cloak. I shook my head, I hated to disappoint the poor guy.

"She has thwarted every possible attempt my men have made to try and peacefully get her here." I rubbed my face, frustration clearly coloring my voice. To my surprise, Leo started chuckling. I looked to see him looking in the distance with a dreamy smile on his face.

"Oh she is just like her mother." He sighed. "That woman never gave an inch to anyone. You, my young friend, are going to have your hands full." He clapped my shoulder and walked to the window to look out.

I was about to ask him what he meant but I was interrupted by voices and footsteps coming down the stairs. I looked to Leo and motioned with my eyes for us to duck into the living room. The voices came closer to us so I could hear what they were talking about.

"Dude! Yesterday's training session was epic! I didn't know she could do that!" I shared a confused look with Leo. What training? my pack trains on weekdays and today is Sunday.

I looked around the corner and saw a group of omegas. They looked cheerful but walked stiffly like they all had stiff muscles. I recognized my cousin, Devin, but that was it. He had his arm around a girl who I assumed was his mate. There were two identical looking boys, another petite girl, and the former rogue. I didn't think he had any friends or associated with people but he seemed to fit in comfortably with the group.

'I should really learn about my pack before I take over.' I thought briefly. A good alpha knows everything happening in his pack and this group proved I did not.

"Come on guys. Rosa has probably started to prepare the drills." Devin said. With that, they walked out the door. Leo looked at me with a huge grin.

'Rosa' we mouthed at the same time. We were silent for a minute then I heard a car start.

"I'm going to follow them." I said. He nodded and I ran out the door.

Rosa's P.O.V.

"Hey guys! We're- okay what the flip are you two doing?" Ariel yelled.

The answer to her question would be peeking over an overturned couch and aiming a marshmallow gun at Danny. He decided to run here in his wolf form and arrived about five minuted before the others. We got bored in that short amount of time, hence the marshmallow war.

"Umm nothing?" I said uncertainly. I pulled the trigger to hit Danny's distracted face. He threw me a dirty look and I grinned back innocently. 

"Is this what we are doing today!" Joe asked. He was giving me big puppy eyes that most people couldn't refuse. Lucky for me, I'm not most people and I love to disappoint him.

"Oh honey, you are not getting off that easily." I grinned as their faces fell. Complaints and groans filled the room. I raised my hand for silence.

"But! If you guys work hard today, I'll cut training short and we can do something fun!" frowns turned to smiles at my announcement. 

"Yay!" Savannah and Ariel cheered, "we're going to the mall!" I rolled my eyes and shook my head fondly. Of course that'a where they'd want to go. 

"Now come on everybody! Today will be a review day!" With that we all went outside to warm up.

As everyone stretched I created several practice dummies out of rock. I heard a yelp in the forest behind me but saw nothing when I turned. 

'I'm just imagining things.' I thought but the hairs on my neck were straight-up and body tensed instinctively. 

"Okay pack! Fall in!" I called. The others began heading my way as a growl erupted behind me in the woods. I turned  questioningly but saw nothing yet again. I was about to go investigate, but was interrupted by everyone gathering around for me to explain what we were to do today.

"Okay so like I said before, we are going to review. So partner up with a dummy and start to work with the offensive drills I showed you. We'll switch to defensive half way through and then we can go to the mall!" Everyone cheered and did as I said. 

I walked around to correct and help people and pretty soon it was time to go.

"Training is over people!" I yelled. Ariel and Savannah grabbed each other and jumped around yelling 'Shopping! Shopping! Shopping!'... those girls are strange. Then we all gathered in the boys cars and headed to the mall.

I want you input on something!! What should the name of Rosa's Pack be? The name of Collin's pack's name is 'Potentia' and according to google translate it means POWER in Latin. I want the name to have a special meaning other than that you have free rein!! Thanks!!
