Recap!
"Why don't we go get some lunch? The line is probably short by know!" She grinned at the prospect of food. I got to say my stomach agreed with her and it made itself known.
Laughing, we all made our way out of the supply closet and down to the cafeteria.

When we got to the cafeteria, everything was complete chaos. There were teenagers everywhere, talking, throwing food, and running around. As crazy as it was, there was one table that really stood out to me.
Directly in the middle of chaos was a large group of teenagers. They looked like your average, everyday popular kids; the guys were all really tall and fit, the girls were all gorgeous. The really weird thing though, was the fact that everyone was avoiding them like the plague. I bet I could guess why. I continued to stare at them until a little tug fought me back to reality.
"Come on! You get to sit with us at our amazing table!" Ariel said excitedly. We started walking towards the other side of the cafeteria. When we walked past the popular table, I made sure to take a deep breath.
'Yup, I was right.' I thought with a sigh.
The entire table was filled with werewolves. When we walked by them, every single one of them stopped to look at us. The looks they were all giving us made me very defensive. I had to fight to keep down a growl that built up in the back of my throat when the girls all stopped to glare at me.
'That has never happened before' I thought. But I wasn't complaining. I have been waiting to shift for years now. Instincts coming out could be a sign it was coming. A pull on my arm brought me back to reality again.
"Come on, these jerks aren't worth being near." Savannah practically growled out. I stared at her in shock. She didn't seem like the type that would be hateful or hold a grudge. Suddenly, one of the girls turned around with the nastiest smirk on her face.
"Aww, what's the matter Chippy? You don't want to hang out with us?" The girl said in a baby voice, "I am so hurt." She finished sarcastically. The entire table started snickering. Seriously? That wasn't funny at all. I turned to Savannah and saw that her eyes had started to water. Nope, nope, nope. I don't do tears or people being mean to my friends. I felt very protective of Ariel and Savannah already.
"Aww! Look who is trying to be funny and make an insult!" Mimicking her baby voice, I smiled a condescendingly as I could. She looked completely insulted. Good. "Come on girls, I am still hungry!" Both had their eyes and mouth open. When they didn't move, I just turned around and went to the line to get some food. As I waited, I let my mind wander. What have I learned today?
1. My best friend from my childhood lives in this town.
2. There is a pack in this town.
3. I just insulted a member of said pack.
'Ooh, yeah that probably wasn't a good idea.'
By the time I got my tray, Ariel and Savannah had moved and sat down at a smaller table. Savannah got up and waved at me. There were three other boys sitting at the table.
"Rosa, these are the guys. Guys, this is Rosa." When the words were done leaving her mouth, she immediately began eating her food. The boy sitting next to her chuckled.
"To elaborate more on what Vanna said how about we introduce ourselves. I'm Devin, this little thing's boyfriend." He nudged Savannah, making her glare at him in response. I 'awed' at them which made her face go bright red. "Thanks for standing up to April for her." I smiled at him. Devin seemed really nice. His light brown hair and blue eyes complemented Savannah's dark hair and eyes. They looked so in love as they stared at each other, they have to be mates. Looking across from me were two identical looking boys. Each had sandy blond hair and brown eyes. The only differences that I could detect was that the one on the left had lighter eyes and the one on the right had more freckles on his face.
"Hi! I'm Joe, this is my twin-" said the one on the left.
"Garret. We are really-" said the one on the right.
"Happy to meet you!" They finished together. Looking back and forth between the two of them I couldn't help but laugh at them.
"Nice to meet you too. Do you do that often?" Both of them gave me identical grins. They reminded me of the possums from Ice Age. Hmm possible nicknames!
"Sometimes we do." Garret started.
"Sometimes we don't." Joe finished. I nodded slowly.
"Yup. You" I said pointing to Garret, "Shall be Crash. And you shall be Eddie." I finished, looking at Joe. Everyone laughed at the boys new nicknames.
We all continued laughing and joking with each other. I learned that Ariel is afraid of spiders and crabs for some reason, Vanna, as Savannah preferred to be called, loved dogs and had a husky named Cyber, Devin knows how to play the guitar, and Garret and Joe once had to dress up like barbies and skip down the halls of school. Don't ask how that one came up. Also, Garret is Ariel's mate. I could tell by the way they were sneaking glances at each other while we all talked.
Crash was in the middle of telling a story about the time he tried to raise a baby squirrel when I felt someone starring at the back of my head. I turned to see a guy from the wolf table starring at me. More like glaring, he had his arm wrapped around the girl I insulted. He refused to stop so I did the only thing I could think of, I stuck out my tongue and turned back around. Apparently, the guy didn't appreciate that because a growl ripped through the air. Everyone stopped talking. I heard a chair scrape across the floor and footsteps move closer and closer to me. The footsteps stopped right behind me and I could feel someone behind me. I turned around as slow as I could.
"What do you want?"
