Catching up to him Stede grabs his wrist "Ed please let me explain" Ed pulls his arm away turning to him with tears in his eyes. "I thought you were mine and I thought I was yours.. you promised me you wouldn't leave me again!" Stede shouts back "I'm not leaving you Ed!" he shouts back "Whether you're leaving me now or thinking about it later, I am not going to wait around" Stede has tears streaming down his face "Ed just let me explain.. please.." he says at the end in a painful whisper. Ed grips his fist with a sigh nodding "Fine.." he says in a cold tone avoiding eye contact.
Taking a breath Stede walks closer "Ed... I had no intention of kissing Izzy, in fact he kissed me. I was caught off guard.. so much was happening so quick my mind could keep up" Ed glances over then back at the floor. Taking his hands Stede looks Ed in the eyes "I mean it" Ed sighs pulling him into a tight hug. Looking from the entry Izzy watches thinking 'God damn it.. I'll just have to do more not that I want to-I have to.. if it's for Ed..' his eyes shift from looking at Stede to looking directly at Ed 'it's worth it' he smiles walking out.
