Lunch ended up being really fun, you got to know Casey better and even met a few of her friends. Right now you're struggling to find your 5th period class which is chemistry. You take a sigh of relief when you finally find your class even though you are late.
The door is propped open so you let yourself in. The class and the teacher look over at you.
Teacher: Can I help you?
You: Um i'm supposed to be in this class...it's my first day
Teacher: That's right that's right, i'm Mr. Johnson i'll be your chemistry teacher...let me see if i can find a seat for you
He scans the room looking for an empty spot
Mr. Johnson: Okay you can sit right next to Mr. Simmons, Mr. Simmons please raise your hand.
Sora raises his hand and smirks. You roll your eyes
Mr. Johnson: He'll also be your lab partner okay?
You nod your head and then walk to your seat. You hop onto the stool and set your backpack on the floor . Sora leans over to you
Sora: Hey partner
You: Don't talk to me
You pretend to be interested in what the teacher is sayin
Sora: We'll if we're gonna be lab partners I'm gonna have to talk to you, so why not start now?
You scoff.
Sora: How about we meet up after school?
You: Cant.
Sora: Why?
You: Work
Sora: After work?
You: Cant
Sora: Why?
You: I have to work till closing
Sora: That's a really long shift
You: It's two separate shifts you dipshit
Sora: Why are you so closed off
His question makes your stomach turn. You look deep into his blue eyes, searching for something although you don't know what. You then look down and start fidgeting with your pen
You: Can we just...focus on the lesson
Sora: Yeah...yeah sure
You give him a half smile and mouth the words "thank you" because you can't seem to get them out. He nods his head and your cheeks begin to warm up. You adjust the position you're sitting in and look over at him without making it obvious. Maybe he isn't so bad after all. But no...you won't catch feelings for him. You promise that to yourself.
