Everything Changes

Chapter 4

After school you head back home to get ready for work. You work at a small coffee shop. You throw on your light purple work t shirt and a pair of jeans and decide to just wear your Air Forces again, then you head to work. Your shifts feel like they're taking forever since there isn't much business in the afternoon hours. You get 1-2 customers every hour or so but luckily its time to start closing. You sigh and begin to clean up the shop. You wipe down the tables and counter and then go into the back of the shop to grab a broom. As you are sweeping the floor you hear the bell on the door jingle letting you know that someone has came in.
You: We're closed
You hear a familiar voice immediately fire back a response
Sora: Oh i know
You: You're stalking me now?
He smirks
Sora: Maybe
You roll your eyes
You: Well you can't be here, we're closed and I have to clean
Sora: How about I keep you company while you clean?
You: I don't want your company
Sora walks closer to you. Now he's standing right in front of you
Sora: I'm trying to be nice to you...why won't you let me
You start sweeping again.
You: I don't need you to be nice to me
He rolls his eyes
Sora: Oh for fucks same Y/N, i think you're a beautiful girl and i just wanna get to know you okay?
Your cheeks begin to get warm and you look up at him
You: How do you know my name...?
Sora: I asked Casey...
You smile briefly but then snap out of it
You: If you really got to know me you wouldn't think I was so beautiful
He leans in close to you
Sora: Or maybe I would
Your breathing is heavy and shaky and then suddenly he starts to kiss you. You drop the broom on the floor and kiss him back for a second, wrapping your arms around his neck as he pulls your body into his by your waist. You then pull away.
You: Stop...I don't wanna do this
You pick up the broom off the floor and start sweeping again.
Sora: Why not
You: I just...can you just go please...
Sora: But you-
You: Please?
He looks down at his shoes and nods his head. He exits the door and you sigh then throw the broom down on the floor
You: FUCK

*THE NEXT DAY*
As you walk to lunch you're looking forward to getting to talk to Casey but not looking forward to having to see Sora in chemistry. When you get to the cafeteria you go buy a salad then find Casey to sit with her
Casey: So...how are you liking school so far
You: Eh...you're the only thing helping me get through it
She giggles and you take a bite of your salad.
You: So um what's the deal with Sora, what's he like?
Casey: I don't know, he's your classic highschool boy i guess, lowkey a player tho, he's on the football team and his dad is hella fucking rich
You nod your head
Casey: Why are you asking tho, oooo are you into him???
You: No...no way I just- i sit next to him in chem and um he showed up at my job yesterday and kissed me...
Casey: No fucking way, how was it?
You: I don't know, I mean I guess he's a good kisser but I stopped him before it could get intense
Casey frowns a little
Casey: What why???
You: I just feel like im not ready for boys yet...it's only my second day here you know
Casey: Yeah i get that...
For the rest of lunch you guys talk about a bunch of other stuff and even make plans to hang out on Saturday. Before you know it lunch is over and you have to go to chemistry, which you're dreading. When you walk into the classroom Sora isn't there
You *in your head*: Maybe he's just late
As the class goes by and he still hasn't shown up you're convinced you might've broke him. You sigh and make it your mission to find him after school. The least you can do is apologize.
