When school lets out you go look for Sora. You see Casey in the hallway and sprint to catch up to her.
You: Hey have you seen Sora
Casey: No...why?
You: He wasn't in chem and I wanted to give him the notes
Casey: Oh yeah, well i haven't seen him, sorry
She pulled away from you by one of her other friends, Marina, who's very nice. You sigh and go outside to look in the parking lot. You spot him leaning against a black Porsche which you presume to be his car and surrounded by a group of about 5 boys. You walk over to him and tap his shoulder. His smile fades when he sees you and your stomach drops
You: Hey um...can I talk to you
Sora: Yeah sure...
He says bye to his friends and walks a bit further away from them
Sora: So what's up?
You: I um, I just wanted to say sorry about yesterday, I just um like i don't really know like how t-
Sora: Y/N no offense but i really don't wanna hear your excuses, if you don't wanna give me a chance you can just say that
You: No but i do, i do wanna give you a chance i just don't know how...
He gives you a confused look
You: Give me your phone
He grabs his phone out his pocket and hands it to you. You save your number and hand it back to him
You: I'm off today so uh just call me and let me know if you wanna maybe hang out later
You smile a little and he smiles too
Sora: Yeah for sure...
You: Oh and here's the chem notes you missed today
You hand him 2 pieces of paper and he looks at your concerned
You: Don't worry I took a picture of them for myself
Sora: Thank you
You: Yeah of course...so i'll see you later then maybe...?
Sora: Yeah i'll um let you know
You smile and turn around and walk away from him. You look up at the sky and whisper
You: Dad i just got my first date in a long time!!
