The drive home is mostly quiet which is unbearable to you.
You: We should have a gender reveal party
Sora: Yeah that sounds like a good idea
You: I'm gonna ask Casey if she'll throw ours, and we'll throw theirs
Sora: We will???
You: Yes it's the nice thing to do
Sora: I guess
You: Have you gone shopping for your Secret Santa present yet?
Sora: Nope
You: Yeah me either, I probably should though but i don't know what the fuck to get
Sora: Not gonna lie me either but when are we exchanging gifts
You: The day before Christmas Eve
Sora: So Monday?
You: I guess
*LATER THAT DAY*
You: I'm gonna go shopping for the gift
Sora: Okay be safe
You: Of course
You kiss him on the cheek then head to your car. You decide to shop for a gift at the mall. First you check your bank account.
You: Only $300?? I should really go back to work
You then plan what to get in your head then go look for it. If you're gonna get a gift you have to go all out. When you get home from shopping you keep all the gifts in the car in order to avoid spoiling any surprises.
*MONDAY*
Today is the day that everyone exchanges gifts. You're so excited to give your gift
You: Oh my god Casey and Kobe need to hurry up and get here, i'm getting anxious.
Sora: Just relax, they'll be here soon
A few minutes later the doorbell rings. You run to open the door.
You: Jesus fucking christ finally
Casey giggles
Casey: Sorry the traffic was kinda bad
You: It's okay...but now everyone sit
You all sit on the couch.
You: Okay who wants to go first
Casey: I will
You: Okay
Casey: I got Kobe
She hands him his gift and patiently watched him open it. He unwraps a box. He opens the box and inside is a gold Rolex
Casey: I know it's kinda an expensive gift which is why i'm like so happy I got you for Secret Santa because i've been saving my paychecks for MONTHS to afford it so i hope you like it
Kobe: Are you fucking kidding? I love it, I can't believe you spent all that money for me
Casey: Well I love you so...
Kobe kisses her softly and smiles
Kobe: I love you more than words can explain
You clap excitedly and smile.
You: Okay so Kobe you give your gift next
Kobe: Okay well I got you, not gonna lie I didn't really know what to get but I hope you like it
He hands you a gift bag and you're excited to open it. You pull out the tissue paper to reveal the contents of the bag, you find a pack of diapers, a pack of baby bottles, and a pack of pacifiers, and lots of your favorite candy.
You: Awww the baby stuff is so sweet and how'd you know these are my favorite candies?
Kobe: I asked Sora, which probably gave it away that I got you but it's okay
You smile
You: Well it was a really thoughtful gift, so thank you
Kobe: Of course
You: Okay now my turn...I got Sora and even though you're my boyfriend I didn't really know what to get you but still I hope you like it
The gift bag is pretty big. The first thing he pulls out is a shoe box. He opens it to reveal Air Jordan Retro 1's in the colors white, red, and black. Sora smiles and so do you.
You: You talk about how much you want those shoes so i decided to get them
Sora: I love them so much...thank you
You: Of course
Sora: I love you
You: I love you too
He kisses your cheek and you smile
Sora: Okay, I got Casey so
He hands her a gift bag and she smiles. She opens the bag to reveal makeup and rings
Sora: You're always wearing rings so, and i don't know i guess most girls like makeup
Casey: It's so cute, thank you so much
Sora: Yeah of course
You: This was such a great idea
Casey: I agree
You: Well while we're on the topic of great ideas, I have a proposal
Everyone looks at you but you turn your attention to Casey.
You: I think you and Kobe should throw me and Sora's gender reveal, and we'll throw you and Kobe's
She looks over at Kobe as if to ask for approval, he shrugs is shoulders
Casey: That sounds like a great idea
You clap excitedly
You: YAY!!!
You give her a big hug.
You: This is why you're literally my best friend
Casey smiles as you try to contain your excitement
