CHAPTER THIRTY TWO: Let's leave

Jillian's Pov

I got out of Maureen's room with many thoughts on my mind.

Han?
It is very hard to believe that Han is the father.
I doubt it if he knows.

" What is wrong with you ? " I heard Jack voice and I jolted back to reality.

I turn to see him leaning against the wall , his hands in his pocket.
He look utterly sexy with his blond hair.

" It is nothing " i said fieghing a smile.

He pushed himself away from the wall to stand before me.

" How is your lips? " I heard him asked softly.

I look up at him and i smile " It's fine " i said before looking away.

The airs around jack mayor command authority.
I'm sure everyone will feel intimidated under his gaze.

" It's late, sleep here " Jack said with a tone of finality.

" No i can't, i have ... "

" You can't go for shooting with your lips like this, I'm going to claw foot club company tomorrow anyway so our direction is pretty the same "

" What? " I asked him in a surprise tone.

I won't deny that i saw this coming already, i know Jack won't stay back since he heard about what Zach Mike has done to both his sister and i.

" It's okay, i just want to have a word with Zach Mike and his father "

" Jack please, you will get hurt " I told him shakily but to my surprise he laugh bitterly.

" You think the Mikes will hurt me in broad daylight ? In the public? " He asked silently and i nodded.

Yes they won't, the families has caused many unpleasantness already.

" Okay, i will stay " i said to him.

I walk to the leaving room thinking then my cellphone buzz.
It was my dad.

I picked it immediately, it is been a while we speak.

" Hello dad , how have you been? " I asked him trying to sound Happy.

" I got a call from your sponsor Jillian " he said and i shudder.

He just called me jillian which means he's furious or scared.

" What did he talk about ? " I asked shrugging even though I'm agitated.

I descend the stairs to the living room where Han was sitting.

" He wants me to warn you off the mayors. For goodness sake ,you know better than to get involved in their conflict "

I sat down beside Han who stare at me.

" I will call you back " i said and hang up.

I sighed softly, Everything is happening so fast.

I have miss many schedules than necessary, i got a swollen lips and my heart belongs to jack mayor.

I rolled my eyes tiredly as tears trickle down my cheek.
I sniffed .

" What's wrong ? " I head han asking me.

I glanced at him briefly.

" Let's leave the mayors han " i said between sobs.
His expression shows surprised.

" Why? " He asked me faintly. " I know you love jack mayor, would you break his heart all of a sudden? "

I turn to han swiftly pinning him with my gaze.
