CHAPTER FORTY FOUR: Jill has been taken

Jillian's Pov

My eyelids open slowly to see the morning sun.
I yawned lazily before looking around the room.

I smile brightly. I missed it.

I had left with larry and the two yesterday night.
My dad has advised me to he careful and i had also promise to call him.

I heard a knock on the door, the door flipped open and lorie appear.

" Let's get you dress up. I heard Jack Mayor hate laziness " She said smiling before walking away.

I grinned at the thought of seeing Jack mayor.

I quickly get out of bed and prepare.
About an hour later i am ready to go to mayors creation with my manger.

I sat down at the backseat of the car as Larry start the car

" Are you sure you want to do this ? I know Mr Mike recommend you to me. If he learnt about you betraying him he will be furious " i said gently to Larry who sighed but didn't reply.

He was about to pulled out of the garage when han walk in.

I instructed larry to stop the car and he obey.

" Where are you off to ? " Han asked as he bent down to me.

" To mayors creation " i replied brightly.

He stop for a moment before replying.

" Well if that is the case how about i drive. I'm your chauffeur " he said.

" No need, you could join us anyway " Larry said uneasily.

Han sat beside larry in the front seat and the journey began.

My cellphone buzz but this time it was Mr Mike. I ignore it with contempt.

He should know better.

I saw han staring uneasily at Larry and i smile.

He is nervous, i won't blame him.
He has been tortured by Mr Mike already and also survive.

It sure wasn't his fault if he cease to trust no one.

Finally, Larry pulled into mayors creation and i gasped.

This is my first time of visiting the company and to say it is great will surely be an understatement.

I stared at the building that Jack Mayor has build.

I quickly walk into it, the staffs all gasp when they saw me.

Hmm ... Great!
I'm famous, i said to myself.

" Please is Jack around? " I asked the beautiful lady at the reception.

Her mouth was left open when she heard me address Jack Mayor by his first name.

I smile inwardly. Common, your boss is my man.  I told myself.

She gave me the direction to Jack's office and i walk hastily but elegantly to Jack's office without waiting for larry and han.

I ignore the oh and ah from the staffs i came across and Walk pass.

I finally arrived at the chairman's office. My heart start beating faster.

Okay, I'm nervous. I said to myself gently.

I exhaled to keep myself calm.
The secretary saw me but smile.

I finally open the door and step in.

The office was very wide and tidy with three couches and a table at the center. I saw Jack seated behind a desk full off files and papers neatly arranged at the father end.
It was so warm and bright inside the CEO office.
As usual his blond hair was styled neatly and combed.
