The next afternoon, (Y/n) snuck out again to see Sukuna. Despite the fact that Miyuki had yet to give her the dagger, (Y/n) couldn't help but feel the need to see Sukuna before then. What could she say? She was an impatient girl. She was also quite curious as to whether Sukuna would forgive her on his own. It was only wishful thinking, but who knew? Sukuna seemed to be changing everyday.

"Sukuna?!" The girl whisper yelled, as she struggled to get up the hill. Today seemed to be one of her off days, days in which her medical condition flared up for no reason at all. She casually whiped the blood off her lips as she waited for a reply, knowing that even if he did hear her that he wouldn't reply. He never did- yet he was always listening. She sighed as she climbled over a rock, relieved after finally making it to the top.

"Where is he?" (Y/n) asked herself, a small pout taking over her face as her eyes began impatiently searching for him, noticing instantly that he once again was not in his usual spot. She even let her eyes search he trees, yet he was knowhere to be found. The girl gave herself a 10 second rest, taking in the air that she needed before continuing to search for her friend.

However, this time it didn't take her long to find Sukuna. To her suprise, he was qctually sat on the hill. Only now, he was a few steps down at the opposite side, deciding to sit at the dip of the hill rather than the peak. Sukuna wasn't sure why he sat there today, it only being a metre or two apart from his usual spot. But with all these strange emotions running through him these days, he needed to focus on a different kind of change. Sukuna really wanted not to come to the hill altogether, but he was too invested at this point.

The man sat silently as (Y/n) giddily approached him from behind, watching the sun set and disappear into the the ocean.
"There you are!" She exclaimed excitedly, running closer to him despite the pain she was in. He didn't need to look back to know who it was. There was only one girl who dared to run up to a 4 eyed man with a smile on her face.

"Why have you come, princess? Didn't I tell you yesterday that I no longer want you here?" He asked unbotheredly, not even sparing her a single glance and definitely not realising what he had just admitted. A frown made it's way to the girl's face at the title. She could tell that he was still upset about yesterday just by the way he spoke. It was true that he knew her title bothered her, yet he called her than anyway. The man had no plans to ever stop. It was only a bonus that it displeased her.

"I t-told you a thousand times to just call me (Y/n)." She scolded softly, panting as she tried to catch her breath once again. (Y/n) stood still for a moment, trying to breathe as steadily as she could while she stood behind Sukuna. She took in a few deep breaths but the feeling in her chest had not gone away. Her heart felt heavy and her lungs felt light, she was slowly moving closer to the verge of hyperventilating.

It almost annoyed Sukuna that he had so easily noticed the princess's struggling state. The man finally turned around to look her in the eyes, squinting at her as he assessed her situation. Sukuna raised a single brow at her form before shaking his head in annoyance. He was fighting himself on doing something so out of character, yet the longer he delayed it, the more he hated himself for not helping her.

"You shouldn't have come back." The man spoke gruffly, with no warning grabbing her hand and pulling her down onto the grass beside him. She landed with a thump onto the ground next to him and it wasn't long before the feeling in her chest finally started to go away. Before the girl could process the fact that she was no longer in pain, she made eye-contact with Sukuna and let out a giggle at the glaring face he was making, making him even more annoyed than he already was.
