ALESSANDRO'S POV

Akila left past midnight, we spent the whole day in my bedroom and around ten she started packing. I helped her and tried to find out anything about this mysterious secret mission but she didn't let me. She's so secretive when it comes to her work.

We stuffed one suitcase with her clothes, we even went back to her room and grabbed a couple things. Akila discovered the hidden room underground, she casually pressed her heels on the invisible button and opened the wooden floor. We walked down the stairs and when I settled my foot on the ground, my mouth fell open. Guns, pistols and daggers hang on the four walls. She did all of this behind my back, without my notice throughout the days. It only made me admire her more if that's possible.

So many things I should be concerned about, rethink and plan but if she's the one responsible for it, I lay my head on the pillow and rest peacefully. She's a capable woman, she knows what she's doing and I trust each step she takes.

After she finished packing, I walked her to the garage and made sure she didn't want anything. She kissed me one last time and hopped on her motorcycle. Her helmet covered her face and the sound of the engine echoed between the walls. "See you in a few days, don't discuss what we talked about with anyone and don't mention my name until we reunite" she then lifted her helmet half way up her face and kissed my cheek, said she loved me and left.

I watched her drive up the highway and out through the gates. I stood there for a moment, leaving my mind to comprehend we won't see her for a few days. I forced myself out of the garage because it was getting cold and got myself back in bed. Eventually, I drifted to sleep and now I'm fully awake in my office, preparing a few papers before I head to my warehouse.

Dante and Emilion sat in front of me on each side, just like the old days when it was only the three of us. The last time we sat in my office, we were worried what to do with Akila, how to catch Venom and find information about her. Time passed and things changed, life revolved and gave us the most unexpected events to live and witness.

"You know Armando is really pissed about the meeting" Emilion spoke first, chuckling at his own words. "Yeah, his face turned red after you guys left" Dante added, revealing what happened after Akila and I left them to their misery. I didn't really think much of that meeting after we left, I got busy with something else.

"He's daydreaming" Emilion leaned to Dante and whispered as if I couldn't hear him. "I heard that" his back is slammed against the chair and his smile is shining bright on his cheeks. Dante lightly giggled and rested his hand on the desk. "How much do you have left, we don't want to miss lunch" he said, looking over at the papers spread around me. I signed the last three contracts and set my pen down. "Let's go" I gesture to the two staring at me and stand up. It's currently four in the afternoon, I have no idea how we will make it to lunch, these people vanish the food.

Thankfully, we were all dressed so we headed straight to my car. The idiots with me had a small argument about who would take the passenger seat, Emilion ended up winning since last time when we were searching for Akila, Dante sat in front.

I drove down the road, it's empty and calm. The sunlight is not horrible today, no sign of strong wind heading our way. My warehouses are all in the same territory, it takes fifteen minutes maximum to reach each one of them. I bought the whole neighborhood years ago and moved my men there. Some houses are stuffed with weapons and cars while the others are filled with my personal soldiers.

Each house has its own head boss, he informs us with their needs and how things are going. My men are never included into my planning meetings or making decisions, they're only set to follow the rules I demand and unalive who I wish.
