The Rumblings Have Started Again, Why Now of All Times?

A/N: Welcome to a new summer series! Why? Because when I have writer's block and have an idea, I need to do something about it. I may only make a pilot to this just so I can write something. But either way, here it is. In all its glory, I present this thing!

Alarm: "Wake up! Oi! Oi. Wake up! Yeah you, yeah you. I'm talking to y-"

Reaching around his nightstand, Y/N presses the stop button.

Y/N: *He sighs* Looks like I'm safe today. She must've chosen Shido. Thank goodness.

He stops laying in bed and looks around his room. Nothing's been moved or disrupted. It looks the same as when he went to bed.

Y/N: Nothing out of place. I really am safe.

BANG! His door bursts open with an excited little sister running into his room.

Y/N: "Kotori, n-"

Kotori: "No excuses, Aniki!"

Y/N: Oh damn it Kotori, not today! "I've already woken up!"

Kotori: "Doesn't matter! Wake-"

She jumps onto Y/N's stomach.

Kotori: "Up!"

Y/N: "Gah!"

He's kicked back onto the bed.

Y/N: "But I already woke up!"

Kotori: "But you let your alarm wake up."

She sits down on top of Y/N.

Kotori: "Nee, isn't it better to let your cute little sister wake you up instead?"

Y/N: "Asking it like that... Hell no!"

He sits up and pushes Kotori off his bed.

Kotori: "No! That's the wrong answer. Aniki, you're the worst."

Y/N: "I'm the...what?"

The stares off into space. There is no semblance of life left in him.

Y/N: "Worst...?"

Kotori: "A-Ah... I went too far. Aniki, I love you!"

This reawakens her brother as he jumps off the bed.

Y/N: "Yosha!"

He strikes a heroic pose.

Kotori: "Pfft."

She starts laughing.

Kotori: "You're so weird, Aniki."

Y/N: "I think I'm quite amazing, actually."

He stands up.

Kotori: "Sure, sure. I'm going to wake up Onii-chan."

Y/N: "Go ahead, I need to get dressed."

Kotori: "Hai!"

She quickly leaves Y/N's room, closing the door behind herself.

Y/N: "Phew." That wasn't as bad as last time. But if she went light on me, I don't want to imagine what Shido's going through.

He shakes the feeling off as he looks through his closet for something to wear.

Y/N: Sure is a lively morning.

After he's done getting dressed, he heads into the bathroom. While brushing his teeth he's interrupted by a frightened Kotori.

Kotori: "Aniki! Aniki! Onii-chan's caught the T-virus! You have to help me!"

Y/N: "Well, you know how to ward off the T-virus, right?"

Kotori: "What?"

Y/N: "Good hygiene."
