A/N: Welcome back. Here's another chapter of the usual. A little shorter than usual since the next chapter will be longer.

Aboard the Fraxinus, Ratatoskr is analyzing the research they've gotten from Natsumi so far.

Y/N: "We might've pushed her too far. One person is far enough for her to start her own death game. Being surrounded by people who know what she looks like must've been her breaking point."

Reine: "Well, I don't think she hated it. Her state of mind, mood, and affection levels have all increased from their previous levels."

Kotori: "You're thinking seems on the right track. She's not used to being complimented in her true form. Even if deep down, she actually wanted her true form to be complimented, she lacks the confidence to accept it."

Y/N: "She said something about no one wanting to see her unless was transformed. Sometime before she was a spirit, something must've happened. Something that shattered any sense of self-worth she had in herself."

Kotori: "And those repeated experiences warped her self-value. What's important to her isn't whether or not she's beautiful, but whether or not someone accepts her for who she truly is."

Y/N: "Which is even harder to do when she doesn't even accept herself."

Reine: "We're getting through to her, but this isn't going to resolve itself in one event. We're going to need repeated treatments. We have to help her rebuild trust. Only then can we think about sealing her."

Kotori: "There you have it. This isn't going anyway anytime soon. Not unless something big happens or she finds herself out of nowhere."

Y/N: "I see. Well then, I'm going to check in with the others."

Kotori: "Go ahead. We'll tell you when the next step is."

Y/N: "Hai."

He leaves the analysis room and walks towards the break room.

Y/N: What did happen? How could someone lose so much faith in themselves? How does someone get to the point where they refute simple compliments? From the readings, she genuinely believes everyone is lying to her.

He decides to check in with the other spirits in the break room.

Y/N: "Yo, guys. We're finally done with the analysis. From what it seems, we aren't the problem. Rather, it's her state of mind."

Yoshinon: "It seems it might've rubbed off on Kotori-san."

Miku: "You should've seen her, Darling. She was strangely belittling."

Kaguya: "Yeah. I have no idea what her problem was."

Y/N: But I was just talking with Kotori... 

Tohka: "She was making a lot of rude remarks toward Natsumi."

Yoshinon: "From the sounds of it, she could really use a day off."

Y/N: "I'll go have a talk with her. I'm sure all this intense planning has gotten to her head." Sounds like the witch has breached containment. I'll need to be careful with what I say to her.

He leaves the break room in search of Kotori. Eventually, she runs into him in the halls.

Y/N: Found her. Now what? For now, I'll play along. "Kotori? Sorry, are you okay? You look down. Is something wrong?"

Kotori(Natsumi): *She turns away* "No, I'm fine."

Y/N: Maybe I can earn some trust with her. "Oh, right, I was wanting to ask you about Natsumi's meals."
