Later that day as Mia is walking out of her final class of the day she spotted Tina stood slightly off to the side handing each teenager who past her a bright orange leaflet,
"Oh, hey Mia" She slightly rolled her eyes, shoving a leaflet on top of the books she was carrying,
"Hi..." she quickly studied it, realising it was a invitation and turned on her heel "Could i get another one?"
"Yeah sure" Tina fake smiled as she slid another towards her. Mia nodded and stood a few feet away, waiting for her project partner to walk out, when she found him amongst the small crowd she shoved her way towards him, slamming the leaflet into his chest,
"You're coming to this."
"Come and get sheet faced..." He read out "Yeah I don't think so Princess"
"Oh Eddie come on!" she gripped his arm, squeezing on the fresh tattoo lightly making him hiss,
"What's in it for me?"
"Uhhh... I'll come and show your little gang of freaks what a woman is!"
he chuckled "You do realise Halloween is prime d&d night? they will maul me like three great... fat bears"
"Yeah i know, but! its not even Thursday, right? so just move your Halloween special to your actual d&d night and come to the party! It will be like- like your homework for our project, to you know, socialize!"
"Bold of you to assume I don't socialize" He raised a brow as he leant against the locker next to hers "Anyway, I'm pretty sure your real life boyfriend wont like you asking- no begging another guy to come with you"
"I'm not asking for you to come with me... I'm going with Jonathan, I just want you to have some real fun for a change! come on ed's I've had a horrible day, my mom has turned up out of no where i need my scary metal head friend to protect me when Jonathan gets..." she looked down at the leaflet in her hand "When he gets sheet faced" the two shared a look before bursting into a fit of laughs
"you just blew it Hopper, byers doesn't drink that much..." He shook his head, pushing himself up from the lockers and walking off backwards "You'll be shocked if i do show up!"
"You better asshole!" she yelled after him, a smile playing with the corners of her lips before she was grabbed around the waist and spun around, before a load of kisses where peppered along the side of her face, "Jesus Christ" she held her hand up to her chest as he let her go,
"Sorry... Are you in a better mood now?" Jonathan chuckled slightly, watching her shut her locker and spin to face him,
She scoffed "Bad thing to ask a girl... but since you did ask, yes, yes I am"
He nodded "Good good, so... what are we doing tonight?" he wrapped an arm around her shoulders as the two started walking out to the parking lot "I was thinking, we go trick or treating with Will for a bit then head back to mine... or something, watch a movie, or read... stuff our faces with half of Wills candy before crashing on the couch?"
"Nice try," She pulled at the little orange folded up paper in his pocket and opened it up "We, Mr Byers, are going to get sheet faced"
"No seriously! I just spent like 5 minutes with Nancy trying to get me to go to that! It's not my scene!" he groaned as he opened the passenger door for her, letting her slip in before jogging around to the drivers side "Please, Mia... don't make me go. I-i mean Steve will be there and Tommy H- you know i don't like them! That new guy, hell probably be there and he looks like an assho--"
She cut him off "You know what, I wont make you" She shook her head "But I am inviting you to come along as my date. ok? and if you do decide to show up, I want you dressed up and everything"
