The next morning Mia woke with a banging head ache, the sun peaking through the curtains really wasn't helping, but as she stretched and groaned, Eddies low laugh startled her,
"How are you feeling, love?" His voice raspy as he whispered,
"Like shit... Jesus"
He nodded "you will after your first... do you think your ok to go to work?"
"It's my first day Ed's, I can't really skip out" she chuckled, wiggling herself out of his grasp to just quickly change into her lifeguard uniform she had conveniently left in his trailer, "how do I look?" She asked, as she threw her hair into a bun, Eddie was still in bed, admiring her in the red one piece with a grey 'Hawkins pool' hoodie over top,
"You look hot" he shrugged, passing her a smile "but if Hargrove even thinks of laying a hand on you—"
"Yeah yeah, he's a dead man... you've given me this lecture like ten times in the past five days" she shook her head "could you... you know remember to ask Wayne if I can stay for a while?"
"How could I forget" he smirked
"Oh aren't you cute" she joked, grabbing her sunglasses from his bedside cabinet and walking out into the kitchen, only getting time to take a mouthful of cereal before the loud rumbling of Billy's Camaro pulled up, "Eddie! Billy is here, I'll be back later ok?" His reply came back muffled from the bathroom as she rushed herself out the door, quickly hopping into the passenger side of the car, "you excited?" She teased the blonde boy, making him shoot her a look as he pulled out of the drive way,
"To sit around a pool all day? Oh sure"
"Come on billy it's an easy job,"
"I didn't say it wasn't" he sighed, leaning forward to turn the stereo up, music blasting as they pulled into the pool parking lot. The pair made there way to the staff room and where immediately put to work...

"What are you doing tonight?" Billy suddenly asked as the two sat in the lunch room,
"I don't know? Nothing... why?"
"Great... we are going out. I'll pick you up at 8" he smirked, shooting her a wink,
"No. I don't want to go on a date with you Hargrove, you had your chance and you screwed it... ok? Go find someone else to fuck"
"Oh come on, you really want that satanic freak?"
"He's not satanic, asshole" she rolled her eyes, trying to finish her lunch as quick as possible just to get out of the situation,
"I know you still want me"
"What the fuck Billy" She scoffed, dropping her head
"Come on... let's be like old times" he whined "we used to have so much fun right?"
She groaned, shaking her head "we can never, never go back to how we were in California..."
"But it's easy doll, you just got to drop that Munson asshole"
"Billy, why don't you go find yourself some whore to fuck with yeah? I'm clearly not interested. It shouldn't be hard for you to find some street rat... since you know... your soooo hot" she shook her head,
