"Alright princess, come on... let's get you plastered up" Eddie slightly chuckled hopping out and rounding the van to her side, helping her clamber out. When she didn't reply he only hummed and lead her into the hospital, hand on her back as he guided her to the front desk "hi... hello... my girlfriend was in that big fire up at starcourt mall, she needs to get her arm put in a cast, it's broken" he explained briefly, being given a nod before someone ushered them to follow them into a room where there was already a doctor and they both sat down,

"What can I do for you today?" He asked the two, though Mia was still pretty shaken up, not being able to reply,

"Uh yeah, she was at starcourt mall when the fire happened... we are pretty sure her arm is broken, the paramedics gave her a sling but told us to get here for an x-ray" Eddie explained, already seeming bored of the building,

"Okay... alright, could I get a name?"

"Right yeah, Mia Hopper...." He said, his fingers tapping the side of the chair,

"Date of birth?"

"August 4th, 1968" Mia whispered lowly,

The doctor nodded, "well mia, I'm just going to scoot around to come and have a look at your arm," he slid his wheeled desk chair towards her, stopping right in front of her and un latching the sling holding her arm up to her stomach. His eyes widened as he caught look, "well I can tell you both right now that your arm is definitely broken, and it most certainly doesn't seem like a clean break... I'll just check on the system if the x-ray room if free, and if it is we can just head over..." he slid away, situating himself in front of the computer to find out weather the room was free on not, and once he knew it was he guided the two down the hall to a tiny x-ray room, far too small for the three of them,

"No no it's fine, I'll just wait out here, you'll be fine Princess," Eddie smiled as he ushered her along with the doctor who instantly sat her beside the machine, placing her arm gently into it.

"So, what happened?" He hummed as he did what ever he needed to do,

"Roof beam fell on my arm." She replied quickly, the lie rolling off her tongue as she watched his every move as he inspected the x-ray and rolled across the room to find a light,

He nodded, "it's done you some real damage, in my 37 years working here I have never seen such a obtuse break..."

"Is it going to heal?"

"Yeah, if everything goes to plan you should be fully healed, though it might take a little longer than usual..." he stood, and opened the door for her, "we can head back to my room and get you plastered up now," he waved his hand for her to walk past him, making Eddie jump up from his seat by the door and hop to her side, walking with her back to their previous room and sitting right next to her, holding her other hand as the doctor held her arm up, "right, so by the looks of the x-ray I'm going to need to re-align the biggest breakage... and I won't lie to you, it is going to hurt like hell,"

Mia huffed and nodded, her hand that was in Eddies squeezing tightly as the doctor started playing with her arm, making sure he was getting it right before he pulled, making her arm move form being bent to straight. She squealed loudly as the pain flew though her body again, reminding her of how much it hurt when Billy squeezed her...

"You okay?" Eddie whispered as the doctor rolled away to grab the player cast stuff,

"I'm ok," she nodded her eyes tightly shut. She was listening to everything as she was being wrapped up, she could hear Eddie's foot tapping the floor, the doctor's heavy breathing as he concentrated, her own heartbeat- all the adrenaline from the past few days making it pump nonstop. As she felt the doctor's presence linger away she opened her eyes, now looking down at the white cast covering her arm, she lift it, not being able to bend it the usual ways. Then the doctor grabbed a stitching kit and gently grabbed her face, lacing a few small stitches in her re-opened face wounds. Once he had stitched her up he covered it with some butterfly tape and rolled back to the desk,

"Right so... you'll need to come back in 3 weeks to get your stitches out and in about 8 weeks to see if you can have the cast off. But your completely ready to go now, you'll just need to pick up some pain meds on your way out." the doctor smiled,

"Thank you, uh... how much is it?" Mia nodded,

"Don't worry we'll bill it all up by the end of your treatment"

"Ok. Thank you," she stood with Eddie and turned heel to reception and let her run off to the car as he picked up her new meds, she was just dying to go home...

"Do you want something to eat with these?" Eddie asked the second they walked through the door rattling the bottle of meds, making her shake her head,

"I just want to go to bed..." she almost whispered,

"Okay, yeah... come on then," he slightly pushed her towards the bedroom, squeezing past her to pick up a random T-shirt, underwear and a pair of her shorts off the floor and shoving them towards her, "do you uh... need a hand?"

"Um... maybe..." she nodded, trying to shake Steve's jacket off, "ok yeah... help me..." she chuckled slightly, eyes pleading as he smiled walking in front of her and slowly sliding the jacket over her plastered arm, the fabric stretching a little. He threw it somewhere in the room and helped with the hoodie, throwing that too. Once he had helped her with all the dirty clothes he quickly got her dressed up, not wanting to make her stand in the middle of his room naked for longer than she needed to.

"Nice shoes..." he remarked as he helped her down onto the bed, "how'd you get them, you know since the mall was on fire..." he sighed as he got changed into his pyjamas, sitting with her,

"I bought them, the other day, just before the mall was e-evacuated, but we couldn't get out... stuck-k in scoops ahoy and everything it-it was shit, okay can we just go to bed?"

"Alright... no need to get so defensive..." he shrugged, "I'll just grab you some water alright?" He sighed and walked out of the bedroom, back in seconds with a glass of water "come on love, you need to take two of these then you can go to sleep," he didn't give her a chance to reply as he poured two of the pills into his hand and practically force fed them to her before setting the water down and relaxing in the bed as she scooted over to lay her head on his chest, letting the hours of sleep she had missed catch up with her...
