She was standing in the parking lot behind a black car when he came.
"You called me out. Is everything okay?"
"Yes, I called you here for a favour. Please! Help me take care of my daughter". She cried.
"Ma'am I don't understand? She is your daughter not mine. You went into labour like three days ago so you should take care of her as your daughter as I am a midwife doing my job". He said in a confused state.
"I understand you but just adopt her or something but please don't abandon her".
"You're the one abandoning your child," He accused."Do you even understand the consequences of what you are about to do".
"I know, but I'm also looking towards the future at the advantage for I and my daughter. Her father has been in a coma for the past one month and I don't have where to go to right now. Please try to undunderstand me, Please!" She pleaded.
"This is not how a responsible mother should behave".
"I have to follow my dreams now to be a model and perhaps an actress. I'm too young to neglect my dreams and I also don't need a baby to distract me".
"Look I can't-"
"Please help me! Think of how you're happy being what you've always wanted. I'm just 19 and...."
"Fine! I'll adopt the baby and take care of her and love her as my own since I don't have a child of my own but remember that we'll do this the legal way and after today you're not coming back for her as she'll become my DAUGHTER" he told her.
"Thank you so much and I'll always remember. I have to go now because I have an appointment with a company".
"Wait! You have to sign some papers in the-" Before he could finish his statement She dropped the baby in a little basket right in front of him and ran away without looking back.
"I would call this the consequences of teenage pregnancy" he said.
