 You woke up in a bacta tank. You immediately began panicking, confused as to where you were and what was going on. Obi-Wan quickly got your attention from outside the tank. His hand rested against the glass as he tried to push some comfort toward you.

"You're alright, little star," his voice was muffled. "I'm right here."

You continued to panic. Your brain still not comprehending that this was real. Obi-Wan noticed.

"Pull her out!" He demanded.

"But she's not—" Tala tried.

"I said pull her out! Now!"

Obi-Wan raced up the small set of stairs that led to the top of the bacta tank as Tala controlled the wires that began pulling you out. As soon as you breached the surface, you spit out the breathing tube and were crying and whimpering.

"Please, don't hurt me," you whimpered, clearly not thinking straight. "Please, don't hurt me."

Every time Obi-Wan thought he couldn't feel anymore heartbreak, you went and did something that further proved him wrong. He quickly grabbed you and unhooked you from the wires, pulling you out and into him. You trembled as you willingly leaned against him.

"It's just me, darling," Obi-Wan's voice was soft as his signature wrapped around yours tightly. "No one is going to hurt you here."

"Obi?" You questioned, looking up. Then you remembered the rescue. The Fortress. Leia. "I'm so sorry. I don't know what came over me. I—"

"No, no, no, no, no. Do not apologize, my dear. You have been through a trauma no one should ever have to endure. It's going to take a while before you are fully healed; mind, body, and spirit."

You nodded, looking around the room. "Where are we?"

~~~
Obi-Wan explained everything that had happened; Leia getting kidnapped, the Third Sister, the Path, his duel with Darth Vader, Leia getting kidnapped again, and Jabiim. He did this all while he helped you get dressed, knowing that you would not be willing to enter the bacta tank since you were continually clinging onto him. Not that he minded. Having you by his side was something he had lost forever. If you longed to be there, he would make it happen.
You and Obi-Wan walked out to the main area of the hidden base, seeing Leia talking to Haja.
"Haja?" Obi-Wan questioned. "What are you doing here?"
"I had nowhere else to go," Haja said. "Right after I saw you, I got into a fight with that scary lady Inquisitor. Now, I'm wanted by the Empire. But now, I know what it feels like being a real Jedi." Haja laughed. "It's not easy. This place is a good business opportunity though." Haja walked off.
"On you go," Obi-Wan encouraged Leia. She ran off to join Tala who was talking to other kids. "Roken," Obi-Wan and yourself walked up to the other man, "that transport, I need to get her back to Alderaan."
"Once we get all these people out of here, I'll do whatever you want," Roken replied. "They've been waiting for months. We used an old trade route to get them out but the window's closing. We held it to help you get the kid. We only have a few hours."
Obi-Wan nodded as the two of you looked around in the crowded space. "We'll do whatever we can to help."
Roken gave Obi-Wan and yourself a thankful nod before giving Obi-Wan's arm a pat as he walked away. "Alright, alright, let's hurry it up! Get ready for dust-off. Leave anything you don't need."
"Come here. There's something I believe you'll want to see."
Obi-Wan guided you over to a wall full of carvings. The carvings of names and symbols and sayings. You left Obi-Wan's side to run your fingers along the carvings.
