Dancing in the moonshine

At midnight on the following night they met each other at the same place again.

They chatted away. About their lives, how they were until now and how they wished they'd continue to see each other.
They both didn't say it out loud, but the possibility of them seeing each other after the time in the old brittle Manor was done for, were pretty bleak.

Melancholy filled their hearts over something that hasn't even happened.

From the far end side of the Manor, a soft melody found its way through the only bright window.

Leon got up.
"May I have this dance with you?"
He whispered as he held out his hand to her.

"I would be delighted."
Her hand in his, they danced under the bright moon watching over them.

Imagening what will come and praising what was.
