WAITING FOR SADIQ
CHAPTER 55

NANAH'S POV

Whenever a date and time of something is been fixed it surely comes to pass no matter how slowly or fast the time seems to be,
When i made up my mind to move on i never thought i will moved on so soon, been a divorcee I decide i don't want any big wedding just the niqah and that's all,

They say every disappointment is a blessing i never believe in that quote until Allah swt bless me with luqman,
Even after leaving abubakar there are days where i ask myself if i make the right decision, I also ask myself if i would get a better spouse than him regardless our differences Abu is a good husband but perhaps not good enough for me,

It's been a blissful 2weeks since my wedding, luqman gave me the most biggest suprise of my life,
I now own a certified private laboratory, even tho the place isn't so big but Alhamdulilah it's ok for starters and well equipped.

"Aren't you going to work today?"luqman ask sitting on the edge of the bed, i have been awake for a while, usually we open by 8am but i make sure to be there by 7:30am to make sure Everything is place in order before we are open.

I glance at the wall clock that shows 9:50am and turn my gaze to him with a sigh before sitting upright.

"When do you say you are going to Nigeria?"I ask and he look at me.

Luqman first wife haven't been answering his call and even his step son didn't attended our wedding, he told me he doesn't know why they were acting this way because when he told her she seems ok about it and even made a list of things she would love for him to buy for her which he gave her the money to purchase,
Sure as hell i wasn't expecting her to just be ok with everything surely no woman will be happy to share her husband of 25years with another lady.

"Don't bother about basira,
You don't have to go if you don't want to."he say and i shake my head.

"I'm going to see my mum and to bring khairat with me,
I told you I want her to stay with us."I say and he nod.

"I can bring khairat with me when coming back,
Beside I'm not staying very long."he say and i sigh.

"I'm going with you,
I'm going to see my elder sister who's your first wife and my son,
Beside we are family now,
Now tell me what my giant baby want to eat this morning?"I say with a smile and luqman just stare at me.

He always seems uncomfortable whenever i call him with pet names or try to act all romantic with him, he told me his wife doesn't really great him that way, it's clear there relationship is more like the old days.

"I have already ate the leftover from yesterday,
I just hope this evening you will prepare one of your delicacy native soup,
I'm craving some, I will help you in the kitchen and yes,
I have found a maid she will start coming tomorrow so she will do the cleaning and you just handle the kitchen."he say and i just smile at him

Luqman doesn't like it whenever I'm cleaning sometimes he protest that why will i clean a house that it's just two of us that stay and it's not even looking dirty, but it's something I'm used to and it has master me.

"I told you there's no much work to do,
The maid won't do much here."I say standing up and walk to his side of the bed, I stand in between his legs and grab his hands wrapping them around my waist, he seems uncomfortable but I'm not letting luqman do that primitive relationship with me, I'm too young to start acting like a grandmother.
