In Volterra, Irina is escorted by a member of the Guard. Arriving at the main room, she finds the Volturi, reading some ancient books.
-What a pleasant surprise. - Aro says after noticing Irina. He quickly analyses the woman before looking back at the book.
-What do you want? - Caius asks, looking up from his book to stare at her.
-I came to report a crime. - Irina takes some steps towards them. - The Cullens have done something terrible.
Aro shuts his book after hearing the mention of a certain vampire family, and is facing Irina in less than a second, who starts doubting if it's the right thing or not.
-Allow me. - He smiles, taking her hand, reading each and every one of her thoughts. The smile on his face disappears immediately by the image of a little girl, flying to catch a snowflake. Aro lets go off Irina's hand abruptly, slowly shaking his head. - Oh, my. - He whispers, creating a plan. The man turns around, walking back to his chair while smiling, satisfied with the plan on his mind. - I think we must visit the Cullens.
In Forks, the Cullens find themselves listening to the little Athena, who plays the piano along with her father. Esme and Carlisle find themselves playing chess, Jasper reads a book while Mackenzie, Rosalie, Emmett, Seth, Leah and Embry watch how the child plays the piano with a smile.
Alice enters the living room, holding a flower pot while smiling, listening to the melody Athena has been learning for the past days. The pixie-haired stops on her tracks, having a vision.

Alice accidentally drops the flower pot on the floor because of the sudden vision, startling everyone. Jasper looks at his partner, closing his book and, in less than a second, is by her side.
-What is it? - Esme and Carlisle stand up to look at Alice, who looks at Jasper with worry.
Athena stops playing the piano immediately, seeing her aunt's afflicted expression.
-The Volturi. They're coming for us. - Mack tenses immediately after hearing her sister-in-law's words. - Aro, Caius, Marcus, the Guard and Irina.
-Sweetie, come here. - Mack tells her daughter.
The little Athena obeys her mother and approaches her. Mackenzie holds the child's shoulders while looking at Alice.
-Why? - Carlisle takes a step towards his adoptive daughter.
