I pulled up to the apartment complex, Tommy was there, with who I assumed was Tubbo.

He was always in a rush, so I never got to see his characteristics properly.

He wore a black vest, with a short-sleeve shirt underneath it. He also wore black cuffs on his wrists.

When they both got into the car, I twisted around. "Tubbo isn't it?"

He crossed his arms. "Yeah? What's it to you?"

I shrugged, "You're Tommy's brother, I want to get to know you."

He scoffed, "Surely Tommy has talked about me before."

"Very vaguely." I said turning around and hitting the gas.

"Huh, Tommy's usually a loud mouth."

I snorted, and saw Tommy smack him lightly in the rear view mirror.

"He worries about you, Y'know?"

I saw Tubbo glance at Tommy from the rear view mirror. He had chocolate brown eyes.

We made a bit of small talk on the way to the center of Manburg.

The three of us walked into the building, and I waved to Sally.

Tommy muttered something, and Tubbo gasped, "You're not wrong."

"What?" I asked, opening the stairwell door.

"Tommy thinks you two would make a really cute couple." Tubbo said gleefully.

"What?" I sputtered, it's kind of an unspoken rule that you don't date as a hero, especially not your co workers.

"You two would be so cute!" Tubbo said happily.

Sally was a Siren too, she had red scales, and red with dark green ruffs.

Tommy began climbing, well, more jumping, from railing to railing.

I would've thought Tubbo would just walk up the stairs, or copy his brother, but he came up with his own style of going up the stairs.

Mans just climbed up one railing like a ladder. Absolutely no problem.

I walked through the door at the top, and Tommy and Tubbo followed.

Phil and Techno were watching the news. Techno shut off the TV when he noticed we walked in.

Phil basically flew at me, and gave me a hug. Then doing the same to Tommy, who either looked mildly uncomfortable, or in pain.

"Thank F*ck you guys are safe!"

"What happened?" Tubbo and I asked simultaneously.

"You didn't hear? The whole city is going on temporary lock down."

Tommy and Tubbo gave worried glances to each other.

"Why?" Tommy asked.

"JS escaped Pandora's Vault."

Me: we are going to have a fluffy day at the hero tower where we have wholesome family vibes.

My brain: but that would just prolong the actual plot from happening.

Me: yeah but-

My brain: plus it would be kind of boring, and this is a great opportunity to introduce the plot.

Me: but the readers-

My brain: this is not a fluff book, the readers will be fine. We can't prolong the plot too much.

Me: - fine.

I wrote this on the way back to school.
