Chapter 25

Andrew and I got along really well. He and I were almost like we were made for each other. He was damn awesome. He got me like no one else. I could tell him anything and everything.

Over the months, we got really close and now we were inseperable. I really hoped that he wouldn't leave me like everyone else. I really wanted him to stay. We were both into MCU and liked horror stuff as well. He introduced me to this book series called 'Goosebumps' and I couldn't thank him enough. It was one of the best things I had read.

So yeah, Andrew was my new bestie. Remember the skinny guy I talked about? He was Andrew's twin brother. Yeah... Non identical twins. His name was Albert. He was a nice guys too.

One fine day, while I was in the school bus, going to the school, this girl called Sally reached out to me. She was in the same bus as me, and she was a friend of Penny's. Sally said she wanted to talk to me about something at school, and I said alright.

At school, Sally called me to the back of the class and she seemed kinda concerned. She asked me, "Raymond, do you like Penny?"

I totally did not expect this. "What? No! Not at all, why?"

"Don't deny it. Almost everyone can see that you like her. My sister Riley knows this too." she said. Riley was her twin sister. Non identical, again.

"Look," I began, "it's nothing like that. Please understand."

"How long will you lie to yourself? Raymond, just think about it and tell me what you feel in the second break today. I'll be waiting." she said and left. Left me wondering about what I actually felt about Penny.

That day I thought and thought and I didn't quite clearly understand what I actually felt about Penny, but it seemed somewhat like I did like her. I mean, she was nice and she was attractive. She looked awesome. I was starting to believe what Sally told me. Maybe I did like Penny.

"Yeah.. I was wrong. I think I do like her..." I said, all nervous.

"See? I told ya." Sally said.

"So um... You're close to Penny right? What kind of guys does she like?"

"Um... It's not anything specific." Sally replied.

"Is there any chance she will say yes to me?" I asked.

"Sorry, but I don't think there's much of a chance. She pretty much likes the bad boy type people."

"Oh.." my face suddenly dropped.

"Don't worry, I'll help you." Sally said and I suddenly felt a little cheered up again.

But was this really going to work out? Me and Penny? Did she even like me?
