Chapter four

AN: Just so you don't get confused, in this chapter there will be a flashback from years ago, just so you can get a better vision of how Olivia and Matt's relationship was before their breakup:)

Olivia's pov:

Flashback - 1 July 2018!

"Happy anniversary babe!" Matt said as we both just woke up, I rubbed my eyes and pulled myself into his arms. "Happy anniversary! I love you!" I said and kissed him, we have been together for 3 years today, can't believe how fast time flies.. After we cuddled for a little while, we both got up and got ready for a very special day..

"Shall we go get some breakfast?" Matt asked and smiled while he looked at me as I took my shoes on, he always looked at me with his beautiful green eyes in such a special way. I took his hand and then we left our hotel room together. "Let's go eat, I'm starving"

Our anniversary this year is being celebrated a bit differently from the previous years, usually we spend the day alone and go out for an amazing and fancy dinner. But this year, we are in Austria for the Austrian Grand Prix. Max told us to skip it and spend our day together, but no way I would miss this race, it's the home race for redbull and there's a big chance they'll win today.. Matt agreed that this was an important race, so that's where our 3 years of being together is being spent.

We arrived at the red bull ring, same time as Max. We got into the garages and I immediately spotted Daniel.! "Danny! Hey!" I said and let go of Matt's hand and then rushed to Daniel, he looked happy as always. Him and I are like two peas in a pot, we are basically the same person.."Livia, I didn't expect you to be here today?" he said as he gave me a huge hug, it's always good to see him. "I wouldn't miss this!" Matt walked towards us, it seemed like he was a bit jealous that Daniel had his arms around me for a while, but Daniel and I are and will always be best friends, no one can change that! "Hey man.. Congrats on your 3 years of being together" Daniel said and smiled at us both. "Thanks Daniel, and good luck today.." Matt said cold, and then went over to Max's side of the garage again. "Thanks Danny, I'll see you after the race" I said and then joined Matt who was talking with my dad who had just arrived too, they have such an amazing relationship with those two!

We have now eaten some lunch and it was time for the race to start. Daniel and Max were in their cars and we were in the back of the garage watching the race from here, next to my dad. Matt had his arms wrapped around me, which made me a bit calmer. I always get nervous when the lights go out. I have my fingers crossed that Max will win, and be safe.

"Thanks for agreeing on being here today, I love you so much!" I said and smiled at Matt. "Of course babe, family before anything!" "and I love you too" he placed a gentle kiss on my head while he still had his arms wrapped around me.

The race was amazing, Max won and I couldn't be more proud of my brother! Today was the first time Red Bull won at their home race, and everyone was happy and proud of the team and Max.. Daniel unfortunately got a dnf, which he was really mad about.

In the evening Matt and I went to celebrate our anniversary at a fancy restaurant. I really wanted to go with Max and the others to celebrate his win, but I had to prioritize and I chose to have dinner with my wonderful boyfriend. We had the best evening, we ate a three course meal and drank some good wine.

When we got back to our hotel, Matt surprised me with some gifts.. "Matt, you didn't have to do all that!" I said, I couldn't stop smiling even though we agreed on no gifts, and the fact that I don't have a gift for him.. "You don't have to give me anything, but I want to spoil my princess" he said and took my hand for him to follow, we sat down on the bed and he handed me the first gift. "Babe, this is too much!" I opened the first gift and saw the prettiest necklace I'd ever seen.. "It's not!" he said as he helped me get my new necklace on, it's stunning, I'm never gonna take this off again.
