Chapter fifty-four

Olivia's pov:

September 2022

We had traveled all the way to Singapore since this is where the upcoming race is being held. I have always loved coming here, so I was really looking forward to a good trip. - I flew with Max, Kelly and Lando here in Max's private jet, which was lovely. Charles was flying in from Italy, he and Carlos had to go there after the last race, just for some practical stuff.. While he was in Italy I catched up on tons of work, I had campaigns to make and then I had a few interviews with different papers and magazines. I also had some professional pictures taken, which was fun to do.

I checked into the hotel, it was such a beautiful hotel in the middle of the city. We stayed on the 13th floor, so we had a stunning view. I just unpacked my things and did some work on my laptop while I waited for Charles to arrive.

After just about 45 minutes I heard a knock on the door, and I immediately went to open it. I opened the door and there he was standing with a smile. "Hey love!" He smiled and gave me the biggest hug. "Hey, I missed you over the last few days" I said and gave him a big kiss. "I missed you too, it's been pretty boring actually" he laughed and walked into the room. "I know right, the apartment at home was really quiet and empty" I laughed. - We talked for a while, before we decided to go out and eat some lunch, since both of us were starving..

Later that day we hung out with Daniel, Carlos and Lando. It was so much fun, we just played a few games with the cards Lando had bought with him. We also played uno, but as always Charles was so unlucky so he lost a few times. We ate dinner together and then we all went to bed early, since we were so tired from the long day of traveling.

The next few days were back to business as usual, Charles was busy on the track going to meetings, interviews and making videos for Ferrari's youtube channel with Carlos. But today was friday, which meant the first two practices took place. And also it's mine and Max's birthday, September 30th.

"Good morning love, happy birthday" Charles said as he woke me up, it was early since we had to go to the track early today, but I didn't mind that it was this early. "Thanks babe" I smiled and gave him a good morning kiss..

We quickly ate some breakfast, which was delicious. I opened my gift from Charles, he had bought me some earrings with a matching necklace and bracelet, it was some of the most beautiful jewelry I've ever seen. Then we got ready and then headed towards the track.

We walked down the paddock, on the way there Charles took pictures with some fans and I took a few as well, and so many of the fans wished me happy birthday, it was incredibly sweet of them. We walked into the ferrari hospitality where everyone wished me happy birthday, they even had a cake for me which was just too much, but so sweet of them.

After being with Ferrari for a while, I walked to Red Bull. "Happy birthday, Olivia!" Christian said as he saw me walking inside the building, he walked towards me and gave me a hug. "Thanks Christian, have you seen my brother around?" I asked with a smile. "Yeah, he is upstairs" he said, then I walked upstairs to him. - "Hii guys" I said and walked up to Max and Kelly who were talking. "Ah Olivia, happy birthday" she said and pulled me into a hug. "Thanks Kelly" I smiled. "Happy birthday, Max" I smiled and gave my brother the biggest hug. "Yeah, happy birthday Oli" he smiled. "So how does it feel, 25 years.. you're getting old" Kelly laughed. "Oh please don't remind me" I laughed.. "Come on, it's been ages since you were 25" Max said which made Kelly and I laugh, sometimes he really enjoys making fun of her being nine years older.

We laughed and talked for a while, until Max had to go get ready for the first practice. So Kelly and I went to the garage and got ready to watch it.

The first practice went by fast, nothing too crazy happened so it all went fine. Max finished in p2, and Charles in p3 so I couldn't wish for more.
