Olivia's pov:

August 2023

Time flew by faster than ever, it was finally august! The month we had been waiting for, because it's the month where Charles is leaving for his summer break, but more importantly the month where we will be welcoming our babies into this world.

I am now 38 weeks along and I feel like I'm readier than ever to say goodbye to my pregnant belly. I'm so tired all the time and I feel like shit most of the time to be honest. Later today we're having what will possibly be our last time visiting the midwife before they're born, which is just crazy to think about..

I was sitting on the couch working on some content. I had been working a lot the last two weeks since I wanted to have a lot of things ready. If the twins decide to come soon, then I can just focus on them and not about work, which is really nice. - "Hey love" Charles said as he got home from the gym, I'm so jealous he gets to work out so much, I really miss it but the energy is just not there, of course it isn't. - "Hey, how was it?" I asked as he sat down next to me and placed a kiss on my cheek. "It was great.. Are you ready for the appointment later?" he asked and held his one hand on top of my belly. "I'm so ready, I really hope they're coming soon, I can't do this for much longer" I said, I was so tired. "I'm sure they'll come soon, you're doing great love" he smiled. "Thanks babe," I smiled. - We talked for a few minutes until I went to take a little nap before our appointment in a few hours.. Meanwhile I took my little nap, Charles was playing a bit online with Alex, Lando and George.

A few hours later I had taken my well deserved nap, changed clothes and gotten ready to head out and see the twins for the last time before we see them for real. "Ready to go?" Charles asked and took his shoes on. "I'm ready" I smiled and then we left, we walked down to the car. A few weeks ago we bought another car since the ferrari 488 pista spider isn't really baby friendly, so that was the one we took now. Our new car is also much easier to get out of when being pregnant, to be honest.

We arrived at the clinic and after a few minutes we got into the room with the sweetest midwife that we have had throughout the entire pregnancy. - "So it's getting closer now, huh?" she asked and smiled, while she scanned my belly searching for their heartbeats, it wasn't hard to find. "Yeah, it's so exciting" Charles said and I nodded. "I know, it's huge! Now this is their heartbeats, and it's exactly like it should be" she said and turned the sound up, it sounded perfectly and that just made me so happy. - We saw them on the screen and it was crazy how big they had gotten, we could see everything now.

"So there's something I'm a bit concerned about, and I wanna discuss this with you" our midwife said as we were almost done with everything, now we were just sitting around the little table talking the last things through. "Oh yeah sure, what is it?" I asked and I was immediately worried that something was wrong with them.. "Is it bad?" Charles asked and took my hand. "They're not laying the same way which means we can try to flip him, but it will hurt a lot, and is not always possible to succeed, especially not when it's twins.." she said. "Oh god, so is there another option? Or do we try flipping him?" I asked. "Either we try the flipping method and then you can wait until they wanna come, possibly in little over two weeks, or we can perform a c-section possibly next week" she said and I was really thinking about what I wanted.. "Wow, ehm what do you think, love?" Charles asked.

"I'm not sure, what do you think?" I asked and looked at Charles. "It's up to you, it's your body.. I'll be here to support you no matter what you're choosing" he smiled and looked at me. I could see the pros and cons about both options, it was a really hard choice to be honest.. - "I think I wan't the c-section.. but are they really ready to come out already?" I asked. "I'm a hundred percent sure they are more than ready. Actually most twins are born in week 37" she smiled. "Okay then, I'll take the c-section then.. Is that alright?" I asked and looked at Charles. "Yeah of course it's alright, you are the one to choose this" he smiled.
