Chapter forty-five

Charles's pov:

March 2022

"What was that? Did you finally talk?" Carlos said as he walked up to me, after Olivia had just left me alone at the bar. "I wouldn't call it that, she doesn't wanna talk with me" I said and ordered another drink. "Go after her, make her talk to you.. Daniel just told me they talked about you yesterday, and she thinks it's too late to get you back, show her it's not too late" he said and smiled. "Are you sure she really said that?" I asked, and he nodded. "I need some air, be right back" I said and left Carlos at the bar, I took my drink and walked out of the backdoor.

It was lovely with some fresh air after being inside with a lot of people for so long. My thoughts were running thousands of miles per hour, and all of them were about her.

The door opened and the most beautiful girl ever stepped outside, Olivia..

Our eyes locked and none of us could clearly stop looking at the other one.. "Sorry, I didn't think anyone was out here" she said and was about to walk back inside. "Olivia, it's not too late, I love you" I said, she turned around and walked closer to me, but not that close, I took her hands and kept looking at her. "Charles, it won't work out" she said while looking at our hands that touched each other, the first touch in months, it felt special I won't lie.

"Do you love me?" I asked, and she nodded. "Do you trust me?" I then asked, and she nodded once again. "Then trust me this will work out" I said and got closer to her, and that was until our lips touched, it felt like our first kiss all over, but this one was even more special. The first in many months.

"I have missed this," I said and smiled. "I have too.." she said quietly and smiled a bit, she's stubborn and knows that I'm right.. "Wanna get out of here?" I asked and she nodded. "Let's go" I said and then we left the club, without telling anyone. We arrived at the hotel and it was amazing being with her again!

I woke up with Olivia next to me, and with the best feeling ever, last night felt like a dream. I won the first race of the season, but most importantly I might have won my girl back!. - I got up and got ready, then I ordered some breakfast and. While getting ready I checked my phone. I had gotten a few texts from both Carlos and Pierre, who wondered where I went, so I just texted back to let them know I went back to the hotel, but I didn't tell them I went back with Olivia.

"Good morning.." Olivia said as she had woken up, and had also got ready. "Good morning" I said and pulled her into a hug, after giving her a kiss. "We should talk," she said and smiled. "You're right, but let's enjoy the breakfast I just ordered for us" I said and smiled, which she did too.

After breakfast, which was amazing, we sat down on the little couch in the hotel room. "I don't know where to start, everythings my fault.." she said and looked down. "No it isn't, I fucked up big time, which made me lose you, and that's the biggest regret ever, I wanna spend the rest of my life with you, Olivia" I said and made her look up, we shared a smile.

"I want that as well, but I don't know if it will be the same again, with all that happened?" she said. "I think it will only make us stronger together, I do really see a future with you" I said. "Are you sure?" she asked and I nodded, she got closer to me and leaned her head on my shoulder, while I held her close.

"I'm sorry for losing the baby, and blaming you for being happy about it, I'm sorry for being the worst girlfriend ever and I'm sorry for not asking how you felt in those times.. I should have been there for you as well" she said and I could feel a little tear coming from her eyes. - "It wasn't your fault that you lost it, it happens to so many people all the time.. and please don't be sorry! something was taken away from you, well for both of us. We can't change what happened, but I promise someday we will have a baby, and it will be the luckiest baby ever" I said and then she looked at me with a cute smile. "I couldn't wish for more, maybe the timing just wasn't right back then" she said.. "I love you, you know that right?" I said and looked into her eyes. "I love you more," she said. "Impossible" I said and then we shared a kiss. - "So does this mean you will be my girlfriend again?" I said with a big smile. "Of course, don't be silly" she said and laughed, I have missed that cute laugh.
