Chapter eighty

(This is a chapter only with Pascale, Lorenzo, Victoria and Arthur's speeches from the wedding, for those of you who would like to read them, here you go! If you won't like to, feel free to skip this one, and stay tuned for the next chapter, which I hope to upload soon/ when I have time for it)

Pascale's speech

"Marriage is a beautiful and complex thing, the joining of two hearts, two souls as one. Today we celebrate the beginning of Charles and Olivia's marriage. I am Pascale, Charles' mother as you all know, and I would like to take a moment to thank you all for sharing in their special day. I'd especially like to welcome not only Olivia into the family, but also her whole family. And then I wanna thank the officiant for a beautiful wedding ceremony. And a thank you to everyone for attending , especially those who are here from out of town. - Anyone who knows me knows that Charles is the biggest joy of my life together with his brothers. From the moment I held him at the hospital, I knew he was my little boy. His father and I taught him everything, his father taught him how to be a successful race driver, and that you became, I'm so proud of you CHarles for everything you have accomplished, and I know your father would be as well, I'm sure he's looking at you from above now.. - And Olivia, I couldn't be happier than I am today, knowing that from now on he can count on you. The way you two look at each other, reminds me of the way his father and I used to look at each other when we were your age. You two complement each other so perfectly, and you are definitely soulmates. You have been part of your family since day one, but today we officially welcome you. Olivia you are not just my daughter-in-law, you are the daughter I never had. - Charles and Olivia, thank you for finding each other and for sharing your love with everyone around you, and thank you for giving me two beautiful grandbabies, I love them and you two so so much! - Everyone, please stand with me and join me in a toast to Charles and Olivia. Congratulations, you look like a million both of you!"

Victoria's speech

"As most of you know, I am Olivia's younger sister and maid of honor, which I feel very proud to be chosen for. Growing up, I was the baby of the family even though there's only two years between us and Max. I'd always looked up to my big sister, I always wanted to be like her. When she was wearing a pink shirt, I also wanted to wear one, and preferably the same, even though you hated it. If she was dancing around the house, I would for sure be there a few minutes after copying her, so as you can see I did everything she did.. But we grew older and I'm not copying you anymore Oli, don't worry.. You grew up to be an independent and strong woman who has everything, and I really admire that. you're such a big inspiration, and I'm forever proud of you! - When you told me you had fallen in love with Charles, I was shocked because I had never in my wildest imagination thought that would happen, but I'm so glad it did. I have never seen you happier as you are with Charles. So I also wanna thank you Charles for making my big sister happy everyday, I'm so happy you joined our family! - Not only do I feel lucky to know these two people, I also feel lucky enough to have witnessed the love they have for each other. Their love for one and another has made them even better people than they were before. Together, they are even stronger. Congratulations on your wedding, Mr and Mrs. Leclerc"

Lorenzo's speech

"Good evening everyone, my name is Lorenzo as most of you know. and I am honored to be the best man at my little brother's wedding. Charles, and I have been brothers for 27 years and we have shared many memories and experiences together. - I remember when we were kids, and we went on our annual summer holidays to Italy. I wanted to swim in the hotel pool all day and relax, but you Charles, you wanted to see all possible places that had anything to do with racing. And I guess that really reflects our personalities today. As we grew older I remember I was kinda jealous of you, you had everything. You were pursuing a racing career at a young age, you had many successes at a young age and everything was great. But I'm so proud of you for never giving up, you made it to Formula one because of your hard work and dedication, and I know dad would be the proudest to experience this, and so would Jules. - Though it all, one thing I remained constant: Charles is a kind, thoughtful, and compassionate person. He has always been there for me, and I know he will be an Amazing husband to Olivia.. - Olivia, you are a wonderful person and I am so happy that my brother has found someone to share his life with. You complement each other perfectly, and I have no doubt you will have a long and happy marriage together. To Charles and Olivia, I wish you all the love and happiness in the world. Cheers to the happy couple!"

Arthur's speech

"First up I wanna say my name is Arthur, and it is a privilege to stand here as brother of Charles, to make a speech on this beautiful day! I have known and been brother to Charles for many years now, and let me tell you, he's been through quite a journey to find true love. But he finally did it, and Olivia you are the lucky one, and I'm so happy that you are the one for my brother. - Olivia I wanna start with you first, you are a wonderful sister-in-law you're a person I can always have a laugh with, I've known you for some years now and I'm so happy you're part of this family. We've had some fun days together, especially the day we decided to bake cookies spontaneously, and to everyone's surprise they turned out delicious. - Charles, I'm so proud to be your little brother, and I wanna say thank you for all your support throughout the years, you made me believe that anything is possible, even when life throws things at you, anything is possible. And because of you I am where I am today, I would never have achieved so much if it wasn't for you. You are a wonderful big brother, don't ever forget that! When we lost dad all our worlds broke down, but even though you were also grieving, you took your sorrow aside and cared for me, and that is something I will never forget! I love you so much Charles. - Now, I wish you two everything good in the world, filled with love and laughter. I love you two, and I can't wait to see what the future has planned for the two of you.. Let's raise a glass to Mr and Mrs Leclerc, welcome officially to the family Olivia.. Cheers"
