It was 8:30am yet I was determined to catch up on sleep after a long day. Unpacking my things made my desire to sleep worse. Nonetheless, I enjoyed singing with the girls. I've never sung that song to anybody because I felt it was entirely personal and didn't even want it recorded. After last night, maybe I'll change that decision. I rolled out of bed and stretched from head to toe. Whoo! That felt freaking good. The girls and CJ's beds are empty so they must be in the Hall. It gives me time to get my hot self together. I smirked, heading to the bathroom. I did my morning routine and showered. The Pleasure Principle by Janet J played on my JBL stereo. My hair was straightened with loose curls with applied makeup and this outfit:

I danced and danced around and done the choreography she did. She is one of the female entertainers that inspire me so much including Demi Lovato. "It's the pleasure principle, the pleasure principle, yeah baby. It's the pleasure principle oh oh ohhh." I sung. I spin around and sighed happily. "Love me yeah, love me yeah ooh." I playfully sung and danced. The whole time I didn't notice someone watching near the door. The song was now ending so I turned around...I jumped slightly. "WHOA!" I blurted. Firecracker aka Lily Luna Potter was standing beside the door giggling. I turned off the stereo and huffed. "Can you announce yourself? You could've been a damn serial killer." I sassed. She put her hands up in surrender. "Hey, its not my fault you were dancing like a goofball." She joked. Goofball? She called my dancing goofy? I scoffed and fake smiled. "You call that goofy firecracker? You clearly never been to actual dance class." I said. She playfully rolled her eyes and smirked. "Yes I have. When I was little, I took ballet classes before I came to Hogwarts. I'm pretty good." She bragged. I couldn't help but snicker uncontrollably. Lily growled, crossing her arms. "What's so funny?" She demanded angrily. I let out a loud snicker and managed to calm down. "You said my dancing was goofy yet you done ballet including those pink tights! Damn!" I snickered. She walked up to me angrily. "Choose your words wisely- I cut her off. "You didn't choose yours wisely. I work out and attend dance classes by incredible dance teachers. My dancing is influenced by all the "muggle" pop and hip hop you adore." I spoke. Lily fake smiled. "How brilliant! Ever been on Dancing with the Stars?" She asked sarcastically. I hummed in response. "Considering you're a magic hero's daughter, I thought you get the cut." I sassed. She huffed irritatingly. "That's fine. I'm an actor's daughter but I work hard, play hard to earn what I achieve. I practice my art in this amazing Arts school and hustle every time." I said proudly. Lily inhaled a deep breath. "I don't live through my Dad's popularity either. Like you, I want to work hard. I'm not spoiled." She said. I slipped my phone in my pocket and shrugged. "From what I hear, you usually get everything you want by giving daddy puppy dog eyes. That's not spoiled?" I said. She pulled out her wand and pointed to my neck. "Choose. Your. Words. Wisely." She growled. Jeez. I was right about the fiery attitude. But it doesn't faze me at all. I cleared my throat. "Remove that stick from my neck or it's gonna go through yours." I growled through gritted teeth. She inhaled a deep breath before slowly putting her wand down. Somehow I find her toughness adorable. I sighed. "Let's go have breakfast firecracker." I told her. "Call me that again and I'll hex you." She threatened coldly. I smiled innocently. "Ok. Ginger fox." I said. I ran off laughing as she chased me out of the room.

Lily chased me till we got to the Hall. Everyone watched amusedly and shockingly. Her brothers caught her swiftly before I got to the Gryffindor table. CJ looked at me, wanting an answer. I playfully rolled my eyes. "I called her Ginger fox." I told her. She looked down and chuckled. Lily tried pushing them off but their grips were tight. "Damn right you did! I was about to hex you!" She growled. Albus rubbed her shoulders comfortably. "Lils, relax. Relax or you'll get detention." He said in a soothing voice. James nodded. "Take a deep breath sis." He spoke in the same tone. Dominique huffed. "What did you say River?" She asked. I chuckled. "Nothing! All I did was call her Ginger fox as reference to her red hair." I simply said. Lucy shrugged and looked at Lily confusedly. "Why are you angry then?" She asked. She relaxed her shoulders and sighed. "Never mind." She muttered angrily before sitting between her and Roxanne. I smirked innocently, making my breakfast plate. Lily huffed annoyedly. CJ cleared her throat awkwardly. "Anyone wanna go to Hogsmeade?" She asked. "Yup." Everybody said in unison.

******

I've never been at Hogsmeade. Guess they have their own shopping square. Drell sent a letter of getting CJ a broomstick and Quidditch supplies if she made her house team. Hm. I'd like to try Quidditch. All of it screams catching balls and racing but on a broomstick. Jack, James, Fred, Albus and Malfoy's son Scorpius decided on going to Weasley Wheezes joke shop. Us and the girls were going to The Three Broomsticks. Leila already planned to visit Honeydukes with a friend from Ravenclaw. Why does all candy shops get weird names? What's next? Tickle-Pickle Pastries? The thought made me giggle. I came downstairs and zipped up my jacket. CJ flunked herself off the armchair. "Took you long enough." She teased. I chuckled. "Really take after your fam." I said. She smiled happily. "And I'll take it as a compliment." She said. Everyone including Lily were dressed and ready. Roxanne smiled. "Nice jacket River!" She complimented. I laughed. "Ooh, you like leather jackets?" I asked. She scoffed. "Like? I own five of them." She said. Dominique smiled proudly. "And I'm in love with them." She said. She was wearing a dark-blue leather jacket. I smirked. "Be happy it's not your bf's cause if you break up, you gotta throw it away." I joked. We laughed including Lucy. Molly huffed. "Guys, let's not talk about guys as we're unfortunately single." She whined. I fake pouted and patted her shoulder. My eyes diverted to the last person who sat on the armchair. That flaming redness isn't fooling anybody. Lily scoffed, raising an eyebrow. "Ever had a partner River?" She teased. I smiled confidently. "So sweet how you pick the right time to tease me Foxy..." I trailed off. My eyes nearly went to her body. Of course, I'm all for respecting women and each other. The curving of her neck to her waistline. How does anyone stay this fit? There's too many of them in California. "River?" She called. I snapped out of my thoughts. "Yes um...I had a partner. Our relationship's a distant memory. She's now a friend." I told her. Everyone except her weren't surprised I said 'she' since I'm mutually between both sides. Lily looked at me curiously. "So you're..." She trailed off. "In between. Just go with that." I quickly said. She nodded in understanding and smiled. "Good to know." She told me. In the corner of my eye I saw CJ's smirk. Roxanne cleared her throat. "We should get going." She said. We walked through the portrait hole and rode the staircase. Molly smiled. "Ever went to The Three Broomsticks?" She asked. I nodded. "Those Butterbeers are freaking good!" I said proudly. Lily came beside me. "Same. But I wish to go for hot chocolate." She agreed. Lucy nodded in agreement. Roxanne playfully rolled her eyes. "I need to stop paying for all of you." She muttered. CJ covered her mouth in a chuckle. The guys already left so we walked through castle doors like everybody else were. CJ smiled widely. "I have so much to ask! Would one of you show us how to make Amortentia potions? Give us broom race lessons? Go over D.A.D.A spells?" She ranted. They couldn't help but laugh. "Of course! Most of us are experts at D.A.D.A spells and making potions." Molly said. Lily smiled. "And I'm an expert on both." She added. Roxanne chuckled. "Aka Quidditch Chaser and better Potion grades." She corrected. I smirked teasingly. "Even Firecrackers like soaring in the sky." I joked. She growled, almost pulling out her fist till Lucy stopped her. "Watch yourself Walker." She threatened madly. I put up my fist and fake smiled. "Only if you do." I growled through gritted teeth. Molly cleared her throat abruptly. "Me and Lucy will teach you." She told me. I nodded before smirking at Lily. She rolled her eyes.
