Jin bowed his head to the police officers that had just taken their leave after they had done a detailed search of Jimin's apartment and had left everything upside down behind them. They had found nothing to Jin's relief and had apologised before leaving, however, Jin did not feel any better.

The fact that they had gotten a search warrant for this meant that the police were certain that they would find something or it meant that whoever had immobilized them, wanted to pass the message that he was about to get serious and that he had the power to do so apparently.

Frustration was bubbling within Jin's chest as he stood at the door frame, feeling challenged and highly mad at whoever was after Jimin, simply because of how dirty they were willing to play.

"Once I find who you are, god may be with you. You will certainly need him." He spoke to no one in particular as the sternness remained on his face and then he proceeded to enter Jimin's apartment and closed the door behind him.

Looking at the mess that was left behind, made him leave an exhale to escape his lips as he had to place everything in its place before Jimin was to arrive because he wasn't planning on letting him know of this occurrence. He deemed it better to not add any threats and anxiety to his mental condition. For certainly whoever was after Jimin, that was what they were trying to gain out of this night entanglement they created.

Unlucky were they that hadn't known that Jimin wouldn't be home and as such they missed the chance to put mental pressure on him.

Jin started gathering some things from the ground and placing them on the couch as a start, thinking of gathering everything in one place and then arranging them in their rightful places. As he did so, his hands managed to get hold of some old magazines that Jimin kept in his library as they were from the first editions he had been featured in interviews. They were memories and scripted footsteps of his development and his artistic journey as an actor.

He dusted them off carefully, thankfully them not having been damaged much, as he checked through them by doing a quick flip of the pages. As he did so, however, the magazine had opened to a certain picture that Jimin looked cool and collected as always, but to him, it held another memory of what someone could see at first view. For him, it marked the first time, Jimin had tried to kill himself.

"If the world could see you through my eyes...I wonder, would they hurt for you the same way." He mumbled to himself as he closed it and gave another look at the apartment, feeling instantly bad for everything that Jimin was going through and the fact that he couldn't do anything to stop this, once and for all.

---Change of set---

You and Jimin were in his car, on your way back to your apartment. When you had returned among people and had a dance together right after they cut the cake and they all wished your father, you hadn't felt awkward towards him in any way, however from the moment you had stepped into the vehicle and had found yourself alone with him again, a silence had fallen that had made your hands start feeling itchy, from nervousness.

Sure, he played it cool after the kiss and you both agreed to not mention it again and pretend it never happened, but maybe you just weren't the best at pretending after all.

You certainly didn't want to talk about it though for there was nothing to explain and you were sure that he thought the same. You were both carried away and misread each other's signals at that moment. And maybe just maybe there was an equal understanding between you two that you both wanted that to happen for one reason or another.

Thinking about it got you randomly clearing your throat a bit as you shifted on your seat and readjusted your head at the window before you continued looking outside, doing your best to calm your nerves and consider his existence beside you as normal as it should have been.
