After the aftermath of each nightmare passes, the morning arrives looking like cruel mockery. Its rays were so bright and warm that one could find themselves feeling pitiful in their presence instead of thankful.

Maybe if Boram was to ever speak of these thoughts of hers, she could end up being labelled as ungrateful yet she couldn't help but be true. The day was bright but it was also painful because it remained temporary. It was a warmth that she could not carry with her in the dark pits of her heart.

No matter how hurtful her nights were, she preferred them because under the darkness she didn't have to keep any fronts. She was all alone and she had no one to smile for, no one to please. Noone's words to bear and no unwanted company in which she had to make herself a hypocrite.

The night was eventful for her for it held ghosts of her pain and traumas but she didn't hate the night as much as she did the day. For in the day she had to live and she barely had any strength to be existing at times.

Her eyes travelled once more around Jungkook's apartment where she still was, standing by the side of his balcony door as she had woken up and found her way back in her now-dried clothes. The silence had been pleasant as Jungkook had yet to wake up and she had stood there observing the world returning to life, for a while now.

"Today it looks like it will be a good day." She murmured to herself and forced herself to smile for inwardly she had something to fear and that was the fact that she had to meet her mother today.

Most likely by the time she makes her way down at the entrance of this apartment building, her driver must be waiting for her. There was no way her mother would keep her homeless for long for certainly she had checked what she wanted. Boram sleeping over at Jungkook's place was something that would certainly convince her of their supposed relationship for now.

"Get away from my balcony door and don't even think about jumping from it." Jungkook's sudden voice drew her attention to his figure that emerged from the corner of the corridor with some fluffy hair and sleepy-looking eyes.

"Good morning to you too Mr paranoid." Boram rolled her eyes at him, as once again his tendency to bring up her suicidal attempt at every chance he got, was becoming annoying, to say the least.

"If I am the paranoid one then what are you? A lunatic?" Jungkook clapped back nonchalantly as he made his way towards the kitchen to make himself a cup of coffee. There was no way he could start functioning like a human being without it at such an early hour.

"If you were trying to offend me, I inform you that you should do better." Boram followed his figure with her eyes and just by the kitchen counter Jungkook halted his steps and looked back at her with utter confusion on his face.

"Who the heck wouldn't get offended over being called a lunatic? You are just confirming that you are one by this reaction, you know." He stated and Boram couldn't help but crack up because of how his face seemed at that moment.

"You know for a celebrity that always maintains their image, you look quite ugly right now." Her words intended to trigger him for she had not forgotten the audacious words he had spoken to her yesterday night. Offences that would make any lady furious hence she returned it to him as soon as she got the chance.

"I would tell you to go look in a mirror before speaking about others, but I wouldn't want my mirrors to break from the horror of your reflection." His sleepiness seemed to have gotten shaken off as he replied with a stern gaze and Boram mimicked his expression.

"Did you even brush your teeth yet? Your breath is making even the fake plants you have in here start to whither."

"They are withering because of your toxic presence. Get out of my property!" He gestured towards the exit and Boram scoffed at him before she walked ahead towards the main door.
