King smiled and let the tear slip. The guilt in him was alive for 25 years. Now considering he is going to pass the throne soon he can let his guilt engulf him.

Kim Seokjin's father Kim Nam Gil was the head of the warriors of their military. He gave his life to protect the throne. He has always lived for his title, a warrior who knows how to talk with his swords. King can't help but get amused seeing little Jin playing with a sword in her mother's arms. King placed the warrior's head in his lap who is looking sadly at his wife's dead body and his son,seokjin who is crying near his leg.

" My lord I am happy that I get to serve the throne like my father. It's time for me, I...I have one request please.....please take care of Seokjin. My kid....he is the one who saved Prince Taehyung from getting attacked by swords. My kid....is a hero, my lord, I am so proud of him....let him serve the country....please...take care of him..."

Those are the last words from the warrior and still ring in the king's ear.

But King couldn't help but be selfish, selfish for his son and his family. A boy can save Taehyung from monster attawhichs it means Seokjin is someone capable of keeping Taehyung safe so how can he let him serve the country, he needs to be there for his son. As his shield. An alpha losing his omega is not easy, the fading bond will make that alpha weak, he never wanted to see Jungkook weak. He knows he has to accept their fate. He accepted it. But knowing how it was going to end made him sick.

Maybe he deserves this, deserves to see his sons fall apart for going against his promise, for being selfish. The disaster happened.
