George was downstairs in the dreamteam house making everyone food while the two streamed, it was kind
of a system since Dream would cook on weekends, and Sapnap and George would alternate through the
week. Today, it was George's turn, so he decided to make some mashed potatoes and gravy, with some
steak of course since Sapnap just loved his steak and hated when George cooked it, 'wrong'.As he was adding to his mashed potatoes, he had the feeling they were missing something, but he
couldn't quite figure out what it was. Just then, he heard someone coming down the stairs, looking over,
to see Dream, with patches running by his feet.He sniffed the air, "ooo! What are you making!" He rushed over to the kitchen, glancing over at the food
George had prepared. George looked up, setting down his spoon."Mashed potatoes and steak, I'm working on the potatoes right now but I'm not sure what is missing from it..
it just doesn't taste right no matter what I put in it" George said defeated, he was bested by a bunch of potatoes
in a pot.George walked over to the fridge, pulling out a water bottle and unscrewing the cap, taking a sip and walking
through the kitchen, then George had an idea, a mischievous idea.He grabbed the container of salt and poured it onto the spoon without Dream seeing, then covering the tiny
mountain of salt with some potatoes, "you mind tasting it? May be good to have a second opinion" he said,
a innocent smile on his face.Dream walked back over to the counter, sitting down on one of the chairs by the island and taking the spoon
from his hands, "is it hot?" He asked, blowing on it."It's probably fine" George said, going over to the steak on the pans over the stove.
He watched from the corner of his eye as Dream placed the spoon in his mouth, pulling it out with almost
nothing on it. He saw his body freeze for a minute, holding back his laughter, "you think it needs more
salt?" He asked, remaining as casual as possible.Dream set down the spoon, swallowing the salty potatoes in his mouth, pausing for a second, "um.. no, well,
maybe.." he looked aside, grabbing his water bottle and taking a sip, probably to get the taste out.George refrained from smiling, "you think it needs more?" He asked, knowing that Dream didn't want to
hurt his feelings by saying his cooking was bad, so he enjoyed watching him struggle to find positives about
Georges death potatoes.Dream looked up and smiled, he was obviously holding back gagging, "no, it's great like this.. maybe a
little less salt but-" he cut himself off, "it's great! Just.. a little too much salt" He made a gesture with his
hands to say it was a little.George smiled, "you think it's good like this?" He asked, "I don't really want to change it.." he said, putting
on his best, 'disappointed' face. He knew the simp would catch on."No, no, it's great!" He walked over to George, taking the salt off the counter and hiding it behind the
coffee maker, "it's perfect George, don't worry" he said, smiling down at him.George couldn't help but laugh his a$$ off, "such a simp, he would hide away actual pain of eating
that sh1t just to make me happy"578 words
